    EPC Fabrication & Construction Site Manager

    Role Summary/Purpose:    
    The Fabrication & Construction Site Manager is responsible for all operational aspects of the in-country construction and testing (FAT, EFAT) for the subcontracted work scope. This includes the management of the Site Construction Team (SCT) and the direction of the Subcontractor, to ensure on time delivery of the project (Schedule), on budget (Cost) and in accordance with the project quality and EHS requirement.

    Essential Responsibilities:    
    The Fabrication & Construction Site Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
    - Directly responsible for site operations on Projects including site management, technical advisory services, Field execution performance (quality, schedule, EHS & Cost), customer Net Promoter Score (NPS). This includes from the proposal phase through installation, commissioning until final acceptance, on assigned extended scope projects
    - Responsible to develop field execution strategies, site staffing estimates, customer/ constructor meetings, and tender documents
    - Oversees the subcontracting process, pre-qualifications, and commercial structure; bid packages, negotiation through final award
    - Review and critique Fabrication Site Mobilization and Site Execution plan
    - Fabrication Site Mobilization including arrangements for Accommodation & offices for fabrication site team(s)
    - Management of the Site Construction team including holiday roster/rotation etc.
    - Create, issue and update the Site Execution Plan
    - Convene formal kick-off meeting including HSE kick-off for the SCT and Sub-contractors
    - Ensure compliance with Quality and Health, Environment and Safety requirements by SCT and Subcontractor as being a Key factor in the success of the project
    - Supervise the construction and testing of manifolds at Site in accordance with the project and site execution plan
    - Responsible for the delivering the MCS work scope including associated documentation to the project schedule.
    - Scheduling and prioritizing equipment completion per milestones plan and scheduled completion dates
    - Liaise with engineering organization for support with respect to technical queries and timely problem resolution.
    - Local implementation of all plans and procedures and in particular Fabrication Site Plans/Procedures.
    - Report back to MCS Team, including the MCS PM and SCM, with respect to schedule adherence, progress, input to KPI's, weekly and monthly reporting requirements
    - Liaise with SIT/installation manager with regards to preparation for SIT at site.
    Convene and chair FAT/EFAT test readiness reviews ensuring the involvement of the HSE Manager.
    - Local management of on-site QA Support ensuring initiation, communication and management of clear system of punch list control
    - Liaise with Logistics and Materials Management to assist in expediting and customs clearances.
    - Review and critique the Field Materials Management and Warehousing Plan.
    - Execute the Field Materials Management and Warehousing Plan assuring materials and finished goods storage compliance
    - Ensure robust systems in place for Goods Receiving Inspection and Damage Reporting for inter-company shipments
    - Implement the work site security Plan and ensure the work site is secure
    - Ensure Weekly MEL Data Updates are provided to MEL/EDL Administrator
    - Ensure documentation is deliverable in accordance with the Supplier Documentation List.
    - Ensure major GRR's that impact delivered equipment are raised without delay and expedited through the system to resolution
    - Be familiar with the customer complaint system and how to initiate a complaint when necessary
    - Local implementation of Schedul

    Qualifications/Requirements:    
    - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
    - At least 10 additional years of experience in a project management, construction, engineering or related role.
    - At least 5 years in a leadership position
    - Subsea projects with at least 7 years at Site Manager level.
    - Solid knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector, in particular subsea solutions.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    - Willingness and ability to travel globally 90% of the time

    - Have a valid driver’s license

    - Have a valid passport

    - Fluent in English
    Additional Eligibility Qualifications:    
    Desired Characteristics:    
    - Minimum 15 years relevant experience in Engineering and Construction phases of major offshore and/or
    - Solid track record of successful delivery of subsea deliverable against contract
    - Excellent leadership skills - Build the Fabrication Team into a dedicated and enthusiastic unit
    - GE Leadership Development program (PMDP, PMLP, OMLP, JOLP, RELP or equivalent)
    - Demonstrated Leadership in a matrix environment
    - Multilingual
    - Demonstrated leadership and management skills which has resulted in success
    - Served as Customer focal point on project sites and manage GE subcontractors or partner contract to ensure success
    - Solid technical background, project management, and services experience; specially with multiple NPI programs to be validated
    - Ability to work within a matrix organization and team atmosphere; works well in a team environment; demonstrated boundaryless team building skills
    - Construction subcontracting and contract administration experience
    - GE power plant technical experience and basic overall power plant experience in installation and commissioning
    - Effective communicator
    - Ability to manage multiple complicated tasks
    - Strong process and digitization skills
    - International experience
    - Direct Hire labor experience
    - Experience with GPO processes
    - Technical advisory process and execution experience
    - Six Sigma training (GE employees only).
    - Strong oral and written communication skills
    - High energy level - self-starter.
    - Technical knowledge of product lines and associated systems.
    - Microsoft suite proficiency.
    - Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills
