EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Work with sales managers to establish specific account plans and strategies Analyze prospects' requirements and propose the best possible solution Create and deliver demonstrations and presentations
- Provide best-practice guidance on customer processes
- Configure applications (prototypes) to meet customer needs
- Bring in additional consultants and technical resources as necessary
- Manage the technical relationship with the customer and be SAP's secondary "face" (besides the sales manager) to the customer throughout the sales process
- Master and maintain detailed knowledge of SAP's HCM and SuccessFactors' product-suite configuration options
- Respond to the functional/technical sections of RFI/RFP's as necessary
- Document and communicate product feedback and new requirements from the field Additional responsibilities:
- Support and train Regional Sales Managers in preparing and delivering demonstrations
- Provide on-going technical support to well-qualified prospects conducting evaluations. This may include training, trouble-shooting, and best-practices consulting
- Communicate competitive intelligence from the field
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 years in a Pre-sales role at a major software vendor or
- 3-5 years in a consulting role at a system integrator
- Experience of at least one of SAP's on premise HCM or SuccessFactors' cloud products is essential
- Experience developing and presenting clear and concise product briefings Nice to have:
- HTML/XML coding experience
- Experience with Performance Management, Succession Planning, Recruiting, Compensation
- Management and Core Human Resources processes as a consultant or pre-sales preferred
- Experience in HR practices, as well as PeopleSoft, Lawson, Oracle or other HR software preferred
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelors or Masters degree, or equivalent
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills
- Strong organizational and personal skills to successfully communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to maintain accurate client communication
- Self driven, motivated and results orientated
- Strong listening skills and solution orientated approach to selling
