Location: Lekki, Lagos State

Job Description

• Coordinate safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
• Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environment policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
• Ensure the organisation meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
• (Re)-orientate employees and ensure they are aware of their responsibilities with regards to health and safety.
• Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations on site.
• Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and that recommended improvements are implemented and adhered to.
• Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
• Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported.

Person Specification

• BSc/HND in an Engineering discipline.
• Professional HSE certification like NEBOSH, ISPON, etc. will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years of cognate work experience is a MUST.
