    Sometimes in the mid 70's the then Federal Government gave a directive to the effect that all state Governments in Nigeria should establish at least, a school of Health technology in their respective slates. In line with this directive, the Kwara State Government Established in 1976, the Kwara State school of Health technology, Offa.

    Registrar

    Functions

    • Be responsible to the Provost for day to day activities.
    • Is the chief administrative officer of the College
    • Is to keep the records and conducting the correspondence of the College
    • Is to carry out the administrative matters relating to staff appointment, admission of students, graduation and allocation of vehicle.
    • Be secretary of the Council and Academic Board of College.
    • Is to perform such other functions as may be assigned to him

    Academic/Professional Qualifications

    • Should be holder of a University degree
    • Should posses at least certificate in Public Administration
    • Master's degree shall be added advantage
    • Must be computer literate
    • Certificate in Health related discipline is an added advantage

    General Qualification

    • Should not be less than 45 year of age and not more than 56 years of age.
    • Should not have less than four years in the service of federal/state Higher Institution of learning.
    • Should not be less than GL15 Officer.
    • Be someone who appreciate respect and promote merit without fear or favour while under pressure.
