    Litigation Secretary

    Job Description

    • Type and format all documents which includes motion and affidavit, written address, brief of arguments, writs of summons, record of court processes, letter to court registrar, agreement, legal opinions, etc.
    • Prepare and label personalized list for annual diaries, etc
    • Send and receive/retrieve office emails and scan documents.
    • Monitor, update and oversee the network system and the server
    • Perform legal research
    • Transcribe dictations  
    • Maintain schedules and calendars including court diaries
    • Document and maintain case details
    • Set up and maintain databases and files

    Requirement

    • Applicant must hold B.Sc/HND/ND in  Secretarial Studies/Administration
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a reputable law firm
    • Matured candidate with a Diploma in Secretarial Studies and with 7-10 years’ experience in a reputable law firm will be considered
    • Candidate who has not worked in a law firm does not need to apply
    • Only candidates that has worked in a law firm as a Secretary will be shortlisted for interview
