    Head of Clients & Industries

    Role Summary

    • Deloitte is currently in search of a Head of Clients and Industries (C&I) to drive our branding and corporate communications strategies and initiatives. Our C&I Unit promotes our brand across all channels to all stakeholders. As such, the successful candidate will play a leading role in growing brand awareness for Deloitte (across both online and offline channels), diversifying our client landscape and nurturing our relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, partners, influencers, alumni, employees, and communities.
    • The Head of C&I will advise Deloitte’s leadership on media, client counsel, and crisis management. He/she will mobilize the C&I team to support Deloitte’s client-facing staff to liaise with potential and current clients, form develop creative proposals to receiving feedback on client engagement.
    • He/she will also enhance the firm’s reputation through networking events, speaking engagements across practice areas and an array of markets and sectors and any other reputable avenue to promote our brand.

    Responsibilities

    • Deepen the Firm’s Clients & Industries focus in Nigeria and Ghana
    • Develop and document an annual strategic market plan.
    • Enhance our winning business culture
    • Build on our industry programmes to enable us dominate in our chosen industries by
    • Focused positioning
    • Concentrating on key clients and prospects
    • Setting targets and
    • Mobilising, coordinating and supporting our activities for marketplace success
    • Build on and introduce new appropriate client programmes, including:
    • Client account teams and planning
    • A distinctive client experience programme to differentiate us in the market
    • Lead client service partner training and development
    • Client service assessments to measure the success of our client engagement
    • Boldly position our brand through:
    • Leveraging off the global activities
    • Targeted development and distribution of appropriate thought leadership to position our capabilities and the eminence of our people
    • Exploring and using appropriate channels, including digital marketing
    • Participate in the appropriate C&I governance processes including integration with the African and Global C&I structures of Deloitte
    • Lead public relation activities across the West Africa (WA) region
    • Coordinate all Partners within the WA region to deliver on C&I commitments
    • Contribute to embedding quality practices within the C&I function.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in industry or professional services delivery, with strong focus on branding, marketing and communications. Professional qualification and experience will be an added advantage.
