    OLT Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

    ACTIVITIES
    The SERVICE holder is responsible for follow up and supervision of Electrical and Instrumentation detailed engineering and construction activities for the OLT Buoy scope of work. He reports hierarchically to the OLT Systems Leader, with functional reporting to UFR Head of Engineering.

    The holder of the position shall in particular be responsible to:

    • o Follow up and supervise the electrical and instrumentation discipline studies for the OLT Buoy to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications and contract requirements,
    • o Coordinate works with the Contractor and subcontractors, with classification / certification entities to define and implement all the requirements in the electrical and instrumentation systems,
    • o Contribute to evaluation of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and review of Contractor and Subcontract's engineering and Vendor as related to electrical and instrumentation systems,
    • o Monitor electrical and instrumentation discipline studies at detailed engineering in terms of technical, planning, interfaces and reporting aspects,
    • o Participate actively in the definition and design of the ICSS system as related to OLT Buoy,
    • o Participate as required at inspection and factory acceptance tests (FATs) on behalf of Company at the vendors' premises,
    • o Supervise and promote cost-saving solutions in the design of the OLT Buoy facilities, including promotion of alternatives for electrical and instrumentation design to optimise the works,
    • o Prepare such plans and schedules as are required to support the construction activities,
    • o Ensure consistency and continuity in the engineering interfaces with other interfacing packages where applicable (UFR, FPSO, ICSS, SPS),
    • o Ensure that clarifications, derogations / exemptions and technical queries regarding electrical and instrumentation design of the buoy are properly treated in line with Company specifications and procedure, providing timely responses to the contractor/subcontractor and vendors,
    • o Identify clearly any deviations from the Company General Specification and report accordingly for final decision on

    Subsea Systems Engineer - SPS - Operator

    Brief overview of duties:

    • Provide technical oversight of all issues related to or effecting the Systems Engineering Design aspects of the SPS equipment to ensure compliance with Contract specifications and requirements. Give much needed System Engineering support to the SPS Package Engineering Leads.
    • The Senior Subsea Systems Engineer's primary focus is required to be on technical compliance of the Subsea Systems designs with Contract requirements. The objective of the role is to obtain equipment to specification, of the requisite quality levels in line with the Contract Schedule.
    • The Senior Subsea Systems Engineer will report to the SPS Engineering Manager for all technical matters throughout execution of the Project, ensuring development by the SPS Contractor of design documentation in compliance with the Exhibit E Design Dossier and Operational Requirements.

    Required skills & experience:
    - Extensive experience in Subsea Production Systems and / or a discipline of SPS.
    - Demonstrable knowledge of intra SPS discipline interfaces.
    - Previous experience of Company / Operator Representation during Detail Engineering phase is an advantage.

    Lead Process Engineer

    Detail engineering for Topsides will take place mainly in Nigeria (Lagos) and is expected to last for 12 month. Some specific studies may be carried out elsewhere depending on FPSO contractor execution plan.
    Frequent missions worldwide.

    ACTIVITIES

    • o Possible participation in meetings with selected contractor.
    • o Follow up of possible anticipated studies or activities.
    • o Active participation in Interface Management preparation.
    • o Possible participation in meetings with vendors.

    During Project Execution phase

    • o Follow-up of Contractor and Sub-contractors activities - detailed engineering, construction engineering, procurement, FAT - related to Process and ensure compliance with Company/Project specifications and with the requirements of the project documentation.
    • o Co-ordination with other disciplines including safety and instrumentation.
    • o Co-ordination with Company Hull Engineering team.
    • o Co-ordination and liaison with other packages.
    • o Co-ordination and liaison with DEV/ED/ECP.
    • o Co-ordination with Company Commissioning and start-up team.
    • o Co-ordination with Company Site Reps on yards of the construction activities preparation including construction and integration activities in Nigeria.
    • o Assistance to the Topsides Construction Supervisor for the preparation of the QA/ QC system to be put in place.
