    Analyst - Public Relations

    Job Summary

    •     Communicate key messages using third party endorsements, to defined target audiences in order to establish and maintain goodwill and understanding between Etisalat and its public.
    •     Monitor and conduct research to find out the concerns and expectations of Etisalat's stakeholders and report and explain the findings to the PR team.

    Principal Functions

    •     The main duty and the responsibility of the public relation analyst revolves around planning, developing and implementing public relation strategies by liaising with the PR specialist and Manager.
    •     Answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email, collating and analyzing media coverage, researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
    •     Write and edit communication materials, speeches, articles etc maintaining and updating information on the Etisalat website.
    •     Not just attending but also organizing events including press conferences, and press tours also sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities
    •     Maintain and manage the public relation aspect of a potential crisis situation
    •     Gain understanding and support from all stakeholders to the business as well as influence opinion and behaviour of the target audience.
    •     Use all forms of media and communication to build, maintain and manage the reputation of the business.
    •     Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Public Relations

    Educational Requirements

    • First degree in journalism, mass communications or any relevant discipline.

    Experience, Skills & Competencies

    •     Minimum of one year post NYSC work experience. Previous experience in public relations or marketing communications will be an advantage.

    Specialist - Social Media

    Job Summary

    •     Define, develop and gain buy-in for the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing Etisalat Nigeria's social media engagement activities.
    •     Build links within social media circles; socialize relevant social media communities on Etisalat Nigeria's online presence.

    Principal Functions

    •     Create and gain buy-in for a comprehensive social media strategy which includes programmes aimed at utilizing social media marketing techniques to increase visibility, membership and traffic for all Etisalat Nigeria products, services, activities and events
    •     Ensure that implementation of all social media strategic initiatives is in line with Etisalat Nigeria's overall business and corporate communications objectives
    •     Enhance Etisalat Nigeria's social media outreach by conducting research to identify relevant online influencers
    •     Collaborate internally on developing and managing online strategic partnerships for all business units/ functional areas and projects
    •     Keep abreast of social media tools, trends and applications in order to apply acquired knowledge towards continuously improving and enhancing Etisalat Nigeria's use of social media in achieving overall corporate objectives
    •     Strategize with the Manager-Public Relations to drive and embed adoption of innovative social media techniques and practices in the corporate culture and for all products and services
    •     Support the Manager-Public Relations with continued development and promotion of best social media practices and thought leadership
    •     Measure the impact of social media on overall marketing efforts
    •     Collaborate with other members of the Public Relations team to amplify social media activities
    •     Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager-Public Relations

    Educational Requirements

    • First degree in Arts or Social Sciences or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

    Supervisor - Procurement Administration & Quality Assurance

    Job Summary

    •     Coordinate efficient vendor database management and purchase order processing to support the smooth operations of procurement division.
    •     Coordinate timely departmental performance reporting

    Principal Functions

    •     Provide relevant input in the articulation and implementation of the procurement strategy & policies for Etisalat.
    •     Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to procurement management.
    •     Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
    •     Ensure timely processing and approval of purchase orders in line with approved authority limits.
    •     Facilitate the implementation of improved administrative procedures to enhance vendor database management and purchase order processing.
    •     Coordinate the monitoring of past track records of new suppliers/vendors/contractors.
    •     Ensure the establishment and maintenance of a database for suppliers/vendors/contractors and ensure its integrity.
    •     Provide relevant input in the evaluation and selection of vendors/contractors and the negotiation of contracts.
    •     Ensure accurate record keeping of procurement contracts with suppliers/vendors/contractors.
    •     Ensure the ongoing evaluation of vendor performance and regular update of the database with the vendor rating.
    •     Coordinate the efficient and effective execution of all administrative tasks within the department.
    •     Implement the unit's work programs and plans in line with agreed upon procedures and guidelines.
    •     Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Director, Procurement.
    •     Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director, Procurement.

    Educational Requirements

    • First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
