Description This position will report to the Zonal Manager and will be responsible for accounting and finance and overall administration for the zonal and state office and ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of Nigeria’s programs/projects with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.
Provide main support with problem resolution on CO cash accounts, bank resolutions, finance systems, resolution of audited questioned costs, and financial close outs at the state and zonal level.
Ensure the accurate keeping of all books of account for the state and zonal office, including checking account, equipment and supply registers and all accounting records.
Senior Program Officer, Special Projects
Description Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Special Projects, the SPO provides program management support and coordination in planning, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of assigned project activities.
S/he will work with the AD Special Projects to provide support to and coordinate assigned FHI Nigeria project activities in accordance with the respective donor guidelines and regulations.
S/He will assist in strengthening systems of reporting on program progress against stated objectives and monitoring and evaluation frameworks for each assigned projects.
Senior Technical Officer, Prevention and Mitigation
Description The STO, Prevention and Mitigation will provide technical leadership and support to the implementing agencies in prevention and mitigation at the zonal level. It includes supporting the implementation of prevention activities (sexual and biomedical) and strategic behaviour change interventions, testing and counseling, home based care, orphans and vulnerable children and other community mobilization activities.
Assist in the development of strategies for the design and implementation of HIV/AIDS mitigation interventions. This includes orphans and vulnerable children programming; home based care and other care and support activities at the community level.
Development and implementation of interventions focusing on nutrition, food security, education and skills development; psychosocial/spiritual support and shelter; household economic strengthening, legislative support and child protection.
