    Administration & Finance Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities
    The Administration & Finance Manager is responsible to drive best practices in financial management, human resources management and administrative management within the organization to maximize efficiency and growth. She/he will manage and oversee financial management, administration, human resources and compliance activities.

    Financial management and Partners relations:

    • The Finance and Administration Manager will ensure long term sustainability of the organization and support the growth of projects through the following activities:
    • Manage financial planning and partner relations 
    • Prepare and maintain financial forecasts in consultation with the Executive Director and team leaders (including the annual budget and the medium term business plan);
    • Manage relationships with funders and support the Executive Director in designing and implementing appropriate financing tools for Afterschool Centre for Development(ACCD) and its clients;
    • With support from a financial analyst, design appropriate financial due diligence procedures for ACCD projects and perform financial assessments of these projects

    1.2. Manage financial monitoring and reporting

    • With support from the Finance and Administration Officer, ensure efficient financial monitoring and reporting (including monitoring expenses and revenues, reviewing and upgrading existing procedures, ensuring production of appropriate financial reports for internal and external clients);
    • With support from the Finance and Administration Officer, ensure high quality accounting (including overseeing day to day accounting, managing the year-end audit process);
    • Organize and prepare audit and finance committees meetings.

    Administration management: 

    The Finance and Administration Manager will ensure high quality administrative support through the following activities:

    2.1. Oversee general administration

    • Oversee office management duties;
    • Manage the relationship with all of ACCD vendors 
    • Oversee travel arrangements and monitor travel expenditures

    2.2. Ensure compliance

    • Ensure compliance with relevant local regulations;
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, donors and investors’ requirements.

    2.3 .Manage Human Resources

    • Manage payroll related activities
    • Develop and manage human resources procedures;
    • Support team leaders in relation to recruitment processes and human resources matters.

     

    Job Requirements:

    • Required Experience: 3-5 year(s)
    • Desired Courses: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or recognized professional certification (such as CPA,ACCA, CMA, CFA)
    • Language Requirements: English

    Communications Manager

    Job Description
    The Communications Manager will set and guide the strategy for all communications, website, and public relations messages and collateral to consistently articulate Afterschool Centre for Career Development’s mission. The Communications Manager will work closely with other management staff within the organization as the communications partner on a variety of strategic initiatives.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Develop, implement, and evaluate the annual communications plan across the network's discreet audiences in collaboration with the Afterschool Centre for Career Development team and constituents
    • Lead the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action.
    • Decide who, where, and when to disseminate
    • Put communications vehicles in place to create momentum and awareness as well as to test the effectiveness of communications activities
    • Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, and Afterschool Centre for Career Development
    • Mentor and lead a team member responsible for Afterschool Centre for Career Development 's website administration and coordination
    • Coordinate webpage maintenance—ensure that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) is posted regularly
    • Track and measure the level of engagement within the network over time
    • Manage development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, annual report, e-newsletters, and Afterschool Centre for Career Development website
    • Manage all media contacts
    • Work on the ongoing development and execution of our social media strategies.
    • Find and develop relevant content that is of interest to our audience
    • Monitor engagement on social media, and help develop innovative campaigns.
    • Implement posting schedules and ensure adherence to social media guidelines and procedures
    • Working with a cross-departmental team, maintaining and developing the master content calendar.
    • Ensure the organization stays current with emerging social media trends.
    • Assure social media information is archived for future needs.
    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills are needed for this pivotal position!

    Desired Skills and Experience
    Afterschool Centre for Career Development is seeking:

    • An accomplished Director of Communications who has at least 4 years of communications experience, ideally with corporate and non-profit sector based experiences and covering areas such as website content, newsletters, and donor communications.
    • The ability to take knowledge and transform it into exciting and useful messages, and disseminate it to the right audiences through the best distribution channels is critical.
    • Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications strategies
    • Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
    • A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently
    • Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to "manage by influence."
    • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels
    • Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters
    • Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives
    • Excellent understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, etc.).
    • Passionate about technology.
    • Good understanding of different industries and how they leverage social media for their needs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • 1-3 years of experience in multichannel content creation.
    • Creative self-starter who can work independently or on a team.
    • Organized; deadline driven, and able to manage multiple projects and engagements simultaneously.
