  • We are a leading international player in marine services that offers to the most demanding oil & gas clients worldwide a full line of innovative,
    safe, high performance and new generation vessels and an expanded offer of offshore oil & gas services. We want to recruit the following positions in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

    HSE ASSISTANT

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Assist with coordination of hazardous operations in accordance with Safe working practices .
    • Assist with execution of vessel safety inspections .
    • Assist with incident investigations and preparation of reports
    • Assist with the collation of Company HSE statistics
    • Monitor and update vessel records
    • Assist with preparation and execution of safety training, inductions seminars and campaigns
    • Manage office medical facilities.

    Line reporting & functional linkage
    Reports to the HSE Superintendent

    Key skills and behaviour:
    Highly analytical and with good numeracy skills
    Able to work with detail but maintain an overview
    Able to identity issues and provide clear feedback to the management
    Able to work to deadlines with a minimum of supervision
    Good interpersonal skills with a wide range of people outside the HSE discipline
    Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment

    Experience:
    • Good experience in an HSE department of a large Company

    Education:
    Degree in an Engineering or Management discipline is required
    Professional qualification is an advantage

    Languages
    Fluent in English

    Computer Knowledge
    Basic knowledge of microsoft office

    HSE SUPERINTENDENT

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Coordinate all hazardous operations in accordance with Safe working practices.
    • Ensure proper planning and execution of Safety Management System.
    • Ensure strict compliance with Company Safety policies and procedures on all jobs and tasks planning and performance
    • Ensure properly planned and executed vessel safety inspections.
    • Collate Company HSE statistics.
    • Initiate incidents investigation and prepare reports
    • Lead the preparation and execution of safety trainings, induction, seminars and campaigns

    Line reporting & functional linkage
    • Reports to the HSE Manager

    Key skills and behaviour:

    • QHSE professional qualification is required
    • Any other related professional qualification is an advantage
