    BURSAR

    The Bursar is a Principal Officer and in accordance with the University Law, the Head of the Finance Department of the University. He/She is responsible to the Vice - Chancellor for the administration and control of the financial affairs of the University. Applicant for this key management position must be candidate with vision, proven professional distinction, managerial ability, integrity and transparency in private and public life and able to provide the Management of the University with appropriate advice and support for all of the Institution's financial transaction.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Candidates must possess a good University degree in accounting or related disciplines as well as professionally recognized accountancy qualification from any of the following bodies:
    • Institute of chartered Accountants of Nigeria
    • Institute of Chartered Accountant of England and Wales
    • Association of National Accountants of Nigeria
    • Applicants must also be computer literate and have a working knowledge of a good accounting package.

    EXPERIENCE
    Candidates are required to have a minimum of fifteen (15) years post graduation experience. Working experience in a University or comparable institution will be an advantage.

    SALARY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
    The remuneration and other conditions of service are as applicable to the post of BURSAR in Augustine University. The successful candidate shall hold office for five (5) years in the first instance, renewable for a final term of five years, subject to satisfactory. performance evaluation.

    UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN

    The University Librarian, who is a Principal Officer in the University is the Chief Library Officer of the University and is responsible to the Vice - Chancellor for the administration of the University's Library which houses a rich repository of books. He/she is also responsible for the coordination of all Library services.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Candidate for the post must possess good honours degree plus professional qualification in librarianship.
    • A higher degree and membership of a relevant professional body will be an advantage.
    • Candidate must also show evidence of considerable scholarship and thorough understanding of the application of new technologies to library operations and services.
    • Computer literacy and applications of ICT in library services is an essential requirement.
    • He/she must show sufficient evidence of contribution to knowledge through research and scholarly publication in reputable, peer-reviewed journals within and outside Nigeria.

    EXPERIENCE
    Candidate must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience preferably at the University level.

    DIRECTOR, INFORMATION AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY CENTRE

    The Director will be responsible to the Vice - Chancellor. He/she will coordinate the activities of the Centre and the duties shall include the following:    

    • Provide leadership and direction for the IT technical staff, desk officers and field support staff, setting an effective agenda and ensuring performance goals are set and met
    • Network Planning, Design and Administration
    • Oversee and ensure proper acquisition, usage and function of University's equipment
    • Coordinate and maintain University's Information security
    • Advise the Vice - Chancellor /IT Board on IT- related issues

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology and allied discipline with at least, ten (10) years cognate experience.
    • Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage.

    EXPERIENCE
    Candidate must have a minimum of ten (10) years experience preferably at the University level.

    Salary: AUNASS 14 (N4, 075,823.16 - N5, 389,473.96 per annum)
