Job Description

• Ability to work with the cash register and calculating precisely each customer's bill
• Keep the surrounding of the shop clean and presentable at all times
• Maintains safe, clean and organized and well stocked area at all time
• Maintains full knowledge of breads, pastries and cakes and any other pertinent information
• Greets all customers with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Develops good relationship with customers and informs all customer of all product changes
• Packs produce neatly for customers

Job Purpose

• Liaises with customers who are interested in purchasing, provides advice on, recommends and attempts to successfully sell goods.

Duties

• Ability to work the cash register and deal with money
• Must keep surroundings clean and presentable at all times
• Maintains a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area
• Maintains full knowledge of breads, pastries, cakes and other pertinent information
• Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Inform customers of daily specials and menu changes
• Develops relationships with guests
• Neatly pack purchased produce for guests
• Correctly and precisely calculates each guests bill and returns change to guests quickly
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return
• Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by manager
• Replenish produce

• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time
