We are recruiting for our client, a high calibre PURCHASING MANAGER. Our client is top positioned in the hospitality industry offering innovative and world class services to its numerous local and international clients at its Central Abuja Location.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Search for the highest quality items at the lowest possible prices. - Assess suppliers based on the desired parameters. - Find the right suppliers and consider the factor of reputation in determining which suppliers to work with. - Ensure timely orders and ensure that delivery schedules are met. - Prepare ongoing reports of all procurements for the management. - Consider all other aspects that may influence purchasing decisions. - Apply tenders where required.
Summary of Responsibilities
Ability to manage finance and budgets to minimize spending costs. Ability to forecast, plan and correctly assess material needs and review tenders. Good communication and planning. Strong market awareness, good judgement and analytical ability.
Requirements
First Degree/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or similar field. Minimum of 2 years experience managing procurement and purchases in a reputable hospittatlity organization. Knowledge of computer applications including spreadsheets and word processing. Females aged 30 - 40 years are highly encouraged to apply.
