Tasks / Responsibilities
• Develops and drives the successful implementation of a business plan and sales strategy for the target market that ensures the attainment of company sales and profitability goals. • Prepare proposals and action plans for effective search for sales leads and prospects • Provide accurate, timely and competitive pricing on all company products • Set examples in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits. • Maintain contact with all clients in the target market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements / skills/ competencies
• An excellent first degree in a business or engineering related discipline • Working experience with a leading Technology OEM brand will be an added advantage • Excellent written, verbal and numeracy skills • Good business acumen and insight • Ability to collaborate and drive cross team collaboration with diverse groups in a cross functional organization • Proven ability to effectively lead and grow the business to become the leader in the industry

Roles and responsibilities • Oversee the distribution of products and services from seven leading OEM vendors • Strategize the pricing, promotion, distribution of products from low end to high end within a brand category • Ensure maximum market penetration by having a timely product launching, distribution and dealership across a market segment • Coordinate with other brands to ensure that inter brand competition or market cannibalization is minimized or prevented. • Proactively develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies in both capital and expense categories • Coordinate with IT or 3rd party web developers to ensure high page rankings for product pages for the brands online presence.
Skill set • Proven experience in product distribution from concept to reseller is a pre-requisite • B.Sc / B Eng, HND in Marketing, Engineering or business related fields and an MBA will be an added advantage • Must have the keen sense to identify marketing opportunities and the courage to take advantage of same. • Expert knowledge and good understanding of distribution, supply chain, reseller management and business issues • Must have persuasive, diplomatic, social and interpersonal skills to win market deal and client support. • Excellent communication, management and organizational skills • Experience in reseller management required
