    Specialist.Finance Support

    Job Summary

    Support the Manager, Finance Support in working with the business teams to deliver agreed targets and ensure benefits are optimised, costs are managed within agreed envelopes and provide guidance to the business on finance issues

    Principal Functions

        Work with assigned business area on a daily basis to understand how the business works and its requirements.
        Liaise with the business team to gather required data for post implementation review of local business initiatives and business cases.
        Perform variance analysis to identify key performance drivers and reason for variances.
        Follow up on actions from the business area's monthly financial reviews
        Build strong and influential relationships with the business area to promote seamless working relationships with the rest of the Finance community.
        Attend operational meetings to represent Finance within the assigned business team.
        Work with the Finance Support Manager to implement financial governance within commercial.
        Assist the Finance Support Manager on other ad hoc projects
        Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager, Finance Support

    Educational Requirements
        First Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university

    Specialist, Product Design and Implementation

    This role shall work with Manager, Product Design and Implementation for timely delivery of high quality products and services (both pre-paid and post-paid).
           
    Principal Functions
        Translating Business requirement document into technical requirement as well as the implementation of technical requirement across IT domain.
        Maintain Technical product catalogue and ensure that the catalogue is up-to date.
        Ensure products are fully tested and all raised defects are closed before products are delivered for commercial UAT.
        Ensure all defects raised during the commercial UAT are closed.
        Provide support function for closure of post-launch defects
        Provide relevant platform features/functions to the business thereby driving product innovation.
        Responsible for implementation of agreed audit recommendations as regards products.
        Policy/process formulation and improvement   where necessary in achieving IT objectives in alignment with overall business objectives.
        Interface with product managers from various business units as it relates with product management through-out product life cycle.
        Provide support on projects on platforms relevant for product development
        Actively involved in risk management for products and services
        Manage relationship with relevant vendor(s) for efficient product development.
        Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Product Development and Services.
           
    Educational Requirements
        First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.

    Manager, SOlution Architect (IT)

    Job Summary
    Lead and coordinate the planning, analysis and design of multi-domain Information Technology solutions to engender a world class and extensible architecture providing platforms for sustainable business capabilities in a fast paced telecommunications environment. Responsible for identifying the strategic imperatives for IT and the translation of business requirements into set of technical specifications for the selection, design and implementation fit for purpose IT Solutions.
           
    Principal Functions
        Coordinate the process for translating business requirement into technical specifications and ensuring alignment.
        Coordinate the development and maintenance of the roadmap of IT initiatives to deliver the target architecture for the realization of extant business visions and strategies.
        Guide technology decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and established architecture principles & standards.
        Support the establishment and enforcement of architecture principles and standards through the platform of the Architecture Review Board and other architecture governance processes.   Coordinate the activities of the Architecture Review Board.
        Review and recommend approval for IT solution design proposals as prerequisite for solution build and implementation.  Validate compliance to architecture principles at key development checkpoints for solutions in development on the one hand and changes to those in production on the other
        Responsible for business process optimization and integration, covering enterprise application integration and enterprise data integration (EAI & EDI) within both internal and external contexts
        Enable enterprise agility i.e. facilitate quick response to market dynamics and adoption of new Develop and maintain a roadmap of IT initiatives to deliver the target architecture for the realization of extant business visions and strategies.
        Ensure all technical documents related to a project is compiled in accordance with IT Architectural Policy and best practices.
        Support the technology planning team is the definition of processes and frameworks for managing capacity - infrastructure and application licenses.

        Facilitate and oversee the definition and testing of interfaces for systems integration within assigned project
           
    Educational Requirements
        First degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or other numerate science.
        Postgraduate/professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
           
    Experience,Skills & Competencies
        Minimum 6 to 8 years post National Youth Service work experience, with at least 4 years experience as a Solution Integrator or Architect.
        Knowledge of Architecture methodologies, standards, frameworks and tools (TOGAF, ZACHMAN, UML,  etc)
        Experienced in working with diverse teams of 5 or more people in dynamic and rapidly changing environments.
        Experience in multiple, diverse technology environments and domains including technical infrastructure, application development/management, middleware, database management, and operations.
        Understanding of telecommunication business and technology model/architecture.
        Understanding and experience across the solution implementation lifecycle.
        Experience in planning, building and running telecom BSS/OSS and related platforms are an added advantage.

    Specialist, Technical Architecture

    Support the translation of business requirements into set of technical specifications for the selection, design and implementation fit for purpose IT Solutions. The technical architect would work with the project office, testing and other stakeholders to ensure the requirements are delivered according to best practices and in alignment with Etisalat architecture principles.
           
    Principal Functions

        Experienced in at least two IT disciplines, including any of technical infrastructure, application development, middleware, database management, and operations.
        Good understanding of telecommunication business and technology model.

    Specialist, Mobile Banking

    Job Summary
        Responsible for the end to end management for the Mobile banking propositions and services, integration with Banking products, central clearing house and other processing switches  &  Agency Banking. Responsible for relationship with Apex bank and other licensed financial institutions strategic to our Mobile Financial Service. The role will focus on the proposition and project management & channel management

    Principal Functions
        Develop and launch innovative propositions leveraging strong business model & delivery channels to drive mobile banking through partner banks.

        Ensure that Etisalat Mobile Bank solutions and channels are in line with Banking and regulatory standards for the services to be launched and supported

        Ensure full integration of mobile banking products to telecoms packages and required financial access points to broaden the product line of Etisalat Mobile Banking 
        Responsible for implementing monthly reviews on mobile banking service based on insights & reviews focusing on pricing, communication and channels
        Ensure delivery of strategic products /projects in line with establishing the relevance of mobile financial services in Overall Financial Inclusion.
        Responsible for initiatives to drive registration and active use of mobile banking products
        Join planning and development projects with stakeholders and ensure delivery timelines are met as agreed and documented in Business and project plan.
        Manage customer education, product & Service information communication to ensure minimal customer complains on mobile banking channels
        Draw insights & track progress of key performance indicators from operational and management reports

    Educational Requirements
