NIGERIAN BASED MULTINATIONAL INVESTMENT BANKING INSTITUTION SEEKS A MANAGER, DIVERSIFIED LENDING & LEVERAGED FINANCE (DLL)
Job Summary
• To provide support for the oorigination, structuring, execution and closing of all financing transactions undertaken within the DLL and the larger Investment Banking Unit
• Work in co-ordination with other team members towards achieving performance targets, ensure zero / minimal risk exposure to the organisation
• Assist in coaching colleagues of similar or junior grade and participate in marketing efforts / initiatives for enhancing fee income from ancillary business.
Job functions are inclusive but not limited to:
• Assist in the origination and execution of transactions for both existing and prospective clients;
• Assist in developing financial advisory and or debt arranging mandates for identified opportunities;
• Developing, building and manipulation of excel spreadsheets and other comprehensive financial models / for transactions;
• Working alongside and liaising with credit teams in preparation of financial models, Application For Credit Facilities, Terms Sheets and Offer Letters and any other transaction documents, as well as arranging documents to be signed;
• Assisting in providing supporting materials for writing credit application documents jointly with the Credit Team, submitting and presenting all requisite approval documents;
• Assist in developing and completion of transaction deliverables (i.e. Information Memoranda, Transaction Timetable, Financial Models, Term Sheets, etc);
• Working in conjunction with other team members for putting forward innovative financing solutions to clients, the bank’s senior management and colleagues;
Minimum Requirements
• It would be an advantage for the job holder to have at least a Masters Degree in a finance / business / economics related discipline, however this is not deemed a prerequisite for effectively undertaking the role – a professional related qualification would also suffice
• The technical skills required for the role will include computer literacy, Microsoft word, excel and power-point, general accounting / budgeting skills, project management, transaction risk management assessment, credit evaluation skills.
• The job holder should have a minimum of 8 years finance related experience
• Sound economic and business acumen;
• English is a must for undertaking the role;
• Ability to work unsupervised;
• Able to generate and implement innovative financing solutions;
• Nigerian candidates must have completed NYSC or have proof of exemption.
• This role is open to non Nigerians

Job Summary
Overseeing the Debt Capital Markets Unit within Corporate Finance
Job functions are inclusive but not limited to:
• Originating domestic and cross border debt raising transactions
• Manage pipeline of deals and ensure independent execution
• Managing relationships with clients, regulators and other stakeholders
• Coaching and developing team members
• Improve equity sales capacity and build on DCM capacity.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
• First degree from a reputable university (minimum, second class upper)
• Masters in Finance or relevant professional qualification.
• At least 7 years experience in executing capital raisings
• Must have at least 2 years experience of international DCM, at Associate level.
• Nigerian candidates must have completed NYSC or have proof of exemption.
• This role is open to non Nigerians
Abilities Required
Knowledge on DCM and structured products, excellent team player, effective communication skills
