Job description
- Manage the institution's website for usability and effectiveness, ensuring timely, accurate and up-to-date content. Publish content uploaded by content owners in various units
- Manage and resolve queries from content owners as requested by the relevant units
- Monitor the website for traffic and usage patterns, and provide data to improve effectiveness and meet communication goals
- Develop and manage online advertising campaigns for the institution to meet expected objectives
- Develop and implement a social media strategy to help the institution reach its goals
- Identify social media contributors and ambassadors within and outside the institution, and work with them to help the institution reach its goals
- Work with others in the team to create and share content for driving engagement with key publics on social media
- Monitor social media and respond appropriately to threats and opportunities
- Educate new users to social media within the community, and drive a culture of social media excellence
- Drive the content sourcing and publishing of the School’s quarterly newsletter
- Drive and supervise the production of visual and audio-visual content (photographs and videos) to ensure highest quality standards are achieved

- Monthly increase in website traffic generally, and from outside Nigeria specifically
- Sustained higher audience engagement on social media
- Increase in the number of links to the website from international organisations' sites
- Increase in the volume of downloaded materials from the website
- Increase in the volume of shared pages from the website
TECHNICAL/ GENERAL COMPETENCIES
- In-depth knowledge and passion for social and digital media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels in the organisation
- Creative thinker able to set strategy to action and show results
- Self-motivated with a zeal for continuous professional improvement
- Knowledge of PR and brand communication
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and other content management tools
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Knowledge of SharePoint and HTML will be an added advantage
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors’ degree in any related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3years experience in a similar role
