    Sales Manager (Southwest Nigeria)

    Description

    We are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for our client in the Nigerian Oil & gas sector. As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for managing new and existing client relationships, driving sales growth and developing business opportunities within the Southwest region of Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced, self-motivated, and adaptable. You will have the opportunity to work with an established team of professionals who are passionate about driving sales and providing values.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Southwest region of Nigeria
    • Maintain and grow existing relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
    • Provide detailed reports on sales and marketing activities and performance to senior management
    • Engage in market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities
    • Represent the organization at industry exhibitions and events that can drive sales
    • Manage a team of sales representatives within the region
    • Work collaboratively with other departments within the company to achieve overall company objectives

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or business development roles, 5 of which should be in the Oil & gas, FMCG or Logistics industry
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
    • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales teams
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and within a team
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
    • Willingness to travel within the Southwest region of Nigeria.

    Description

    We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Head, Strategy for a client in the Realties and Construction industry. The successful candidate will work with the client's executive team to develop and implement the company's strategic plan, ensuring a clear and consistent vision for the future.

    He/She will drive the execution of the team’s set goals and objectives which include developing, monitoring, and implementing the organization’s corporate, business, and functional strategies.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement the company's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
    • Participate actively in financial evaluation of projects, business development / business expansion plans and other ad hoc projects
    • Translate strategies/policies into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables including managing scope and budget
    • Provide regular economic, industry and business performance reports to management

    Requirements

    • First degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, or related fields, from an accredited institution.
    • A master’s degree in economics, Strategic Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration is an advantage.
    • At least 8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or related field.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Experience in the construction industry preferred but not required.
