    Sales Engineer

    Job Summary:

    • As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the technical aspects of products or solutions and the needs of potential customers.
    • You will work closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise and support during the sales process.
    • Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and address technical inquiries to help secure successful sales transactions.

    • Continuously enhance technical knowledge of the companys products and solutions.
    • Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to provide customer feedback, contribute to product improvement, and communicate technical requirements.
    • Assist the sales team in lead generation and qualification by providing technical input during customer interactions.
    • Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and trade shows to promote the companys products and services.

    Requirements

    Competency/Skill/Requirement

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
    • Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in a sales engineering or technical sales support role.
    • Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical audiences.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
    • Proficiency in using sales and CRM tools to manage customer interactions and opportunities.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address customer challenges with appropriate solutions.
    • Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as needed.
