    Quality & Safety Auditor (Operations)

    Responsibilities

    • Supporting the Quality and Safety Manager in the day-to-day management of the Quality and Safety Management System and ensuring that policies and procedures are fully promulgated.
    • Assisting the Q & S department in ensuring that the Company’s Safety Management, Quality and HSE policies and procedures are understood by all staff and that all personnel are actively involved in ensuring a safe and efficient service to clients.
    • Working together in a multi-disciplinary team to address Quality and Safety issues in an integrated manner.
    • Ensuring the Quality and Safety Manager is appropriately briefed on all aspects of Quality and Safety performance.
    • Conducting independent audits and investigations as directed.
    • Monitoring corrective actions and improvements are progressed and effectively closed out.
    • Identification of opportunities for improvement.
    • Promoting the company’s Safety Management System
    • Monitoring best industry practice and regulatory changes for possible improvements or changes.
    • Maintaining records of safety performance and corrective actions.
    • Liaison with the NCAA regarding the Nig. CARs AOC Operations and Maintenance Support requirements.
    • Deputise for the Quality & Safety Manager during an extended absence

    Experience & Knowledge

    • ATPL-H or A License. Extensive experience in rotary wing flight operations preferably as flight crew in oil field support and/or fixed wing flight operations preferably as flight crew in Commercial Air Transport.
    • Flight operations experience in Nigeria is preferred.
    • Working knowledge of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations / ICAO / FAA and EASA standards.
    • Extensive prior Flight Operations Auditing experience is preferred.
    • Extensive knowledge in hazard identification and risk management is required.
    • Extensive knowledge in the management of Flight Data Monitoring Program or FOQA for fixed and rotary wing aircraft Experience in Aircraft Incident and Air Accident Investigations – rotary and fixed-wing aircraft.
    • Knowledge in “Management of offshore and onshore helidecks / Heliports / Helistrips and associated installations” and ICAO Annex 14 standards.

    Quality & Safety Auditor

    Responsibilities

    • Working in a multi-disciplinary team to address Quality and Safety issues in an integrated manner.
    • The conduct and management of assigned internal or external audits to agreed timescales; including identifying and recording of any concerns or findings with evidence of such non-conformance' and initiating or recommending solutions.
    • The liaison and verification with supervisory personnel within their designated areas of responsibility for the effective and timely implementation of appropriate corrective / preventative or improvement actions.
    • Ensuring the Quality and Safety Manager is appropriately briefed on all aspects of Quality and Safety performance.
    • Conducting independent investigations as directed and monitoring to ensure actions and improvements are progressed and effectively closed out.
    • Providing specialist advice, Identifying opportunities for improvement.
    • Monitoring best industry practice and regulatory changes for possible improvements or changes.
    • Maintaining records of safety performance and corrective actions.
    • Other duties as assigned by the Quality and Safety Manager.

    Experience & Knowledge

    • Experience with National CAA preferably in airworthiness matters in Commercial Air Transport.
    • Maintenance experience in Nigeria preferred, AMEL holder with type endorsement is an advantage.
    • Working knowledge of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations, FAA and EASA Regulations.
    • Prior Maintenance and Operation Auditing experience preferred.
    • Good knowledge in Safety Risk Management and SMS Management preferred.
    •  Knowledge of UAV/RPAS and its operating Rules and Regulations.

    HSE Manager

    The Role

    • Support the development, maintenance, implementation and improvement of the organisation’s Safety Management System.
    • Support line management to define, implement, and monitor HSE Specific KPI's.
    • Visit bases in the region regularly and issue reports findings and corrective actions agreed with field supervisors.
    • Safety specific: Check lifting equipment certifications, test the ERP, perform safety audits across bases, make lessons learned, distribute alerts, lead job safety meetings, run out safety campaigns, prepare safety records, develop and implement safety award program, lead safety meetings.
    • Environmental specific: Implemented environmental waste management plan, comply with local environmental regulations.
    • Provided planning, coordination, communication and active and visible support and delivery assurance for the HSE Systems including status, results, follow-up, and actions.
    • Ensure effective HSE Investigations are conducted, including, but not limited to, root cause identification, remedial work plan (RWP) development and effective closure.
    • Ensure that all required audits, self-assessments and inspections are carried out and that relevant remedial work plans are developed with effective closure.
    • Monitor and analyze HSE leading indicators, results, trends and performance indicators; ensuring remedial work plans address negative trends.
    • Ensure that HSE risks introduced by the company and third parties are managed and that the performance of these organizations is monitored and reviewed.
    • Monitor the accident records and ensure accident forms are raised, significant incidents and near misses investigated with a view to implement lessons learnt
    •  Produce consultation documents to safety representatives of 3rd party works that is likely to affect their health or safety at work an identified necessary controls.
    • Ensured company’s HSE programs complies with Local, State and Federal Regulations.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Extensive experience in Health and Safety
    • Nebosh/IOSH Qualified.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
    • Ability to plan, audit, develop and identify implementation strategies for Compliance.
