    Procurement Manager

    Role Objective

    • The Procurement Manager will oversee all aspects of procurement and supply chain management to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services for the medical manufacturing company.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
    • Identify and evaluate suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, and reliability.
    • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers/vendors to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
    • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock levels to meet production requirements.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Evaluate and mitigate risks related to procurement activities.

    Job Specification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (CIPS certification preferred).
    • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the medical manufacturing industry.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and market trends.
    • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.

    General Manager

    Job Summary

    • The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the medical manufacturing company's operations, including strategic planning, financial management, production, quality control, and personnel management.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee the entire operations of the IV fluid manufacturing plant including production, quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, environmental laws, health and safety standards, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
    • Develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and profitability.
    • Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Coordinate with other departments such as Finance, Human Resources, Research and Development, and Sales and Marketing to align plant operations with the overall company strategy.
    • Build relationships with external stakeholders such as suppliers, regulatory authorities, and local communities.
    • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions when necessary.
    • Prepare annual budgets, manage plant expenditures, and make investment decisions in line with the company's strategic objectives.

    Job Specification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field. Advanced degrees (MBA or related) are highly preferred.
    • 10 to 15 years of senior leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
    • Thorough knowledge of cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse team.
    • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast production, and analyze financial data.
    • Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
