    Lower Primary Class Teacher

    Responsibilities

    • Understanding the curriculum and developing schedules, lesson plans, and teaching methods that will help students cover the required content.
    • Preparing and delivering lessons that are stimulating and clear.
    • Educating students on classroomsafety and ensuring no student is left unspervised.
    • Setting up tests, assignments, experiments, and grading students fairly.
    • Ensuring appropriate resources and consultation times are available to students.
    • Attending staff and parent meetings, conferences, workshops, and other continuing education programs.
    • Handling various administration functions, which include updating student records, keeping track of classroomresources and equipment.
    • Ensuring a safe, healthy classroom environment where learning can take place.

    Education / Experience

    • NCE, B.Ed. (A Science Degree is an added advantage)
    • Four to eight years of relevant teaching experience.

    Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
    • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
    • Strong multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplifycomplex concepts
    • Problem Solving and Time Management Skills.

    Upper Primary Class Teacher

    Creche Minder

    Job Summary

    • Child Minders look after other people's children, usually while the parents are at work. Much more than simply 'babysitting', this professional role involves care, education and helping in children's development.

    Responsibilities

    • Offering basic care, such as help with bathing, dressing and eating meals.
    • Changing nappies and making up bottles for babies.
    • Encouraging children to play - using the childminder's own toys and books, or those provided by the parents.
    • Leading activities such as drawing, painting and games..
    • Taking older children to and from the nursery, school or playgroup.
    • Discussing each child's needs with his or her parents regularly.

    Qualifications & Skills
