    Business Development Manager (Commercial)

    Responsibilities

    Market Research:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify commercial opportunities, industry trends, and potential clients.
    • Assess the competitive landscape and industry developments.

    Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
    • Identify and prioritize target markets and industries.

    Client Acquisition:

    • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new commercial clients, expanding the company's market presence through networking and relationship-building.
    • Present company's products/services to prospective clients and effectively communicate value propositions.

    Market Expansion: 

    • Identify opportunities for market expansion and develop strategies to penetrate new sectors and regions.
    • Identify and explore opportunities to enter new markets, working to diversify the company's commercial portfolio.

    Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.

    Sales and Revenue Generation:

    • Achieve revenue targets through effective sales strategies and client acquisition.
    • Negotiate and close deals to meet business objectives.

    Proposal Development: 

    • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations to secure new business ventures.

    Cross-functional Collaboration: 

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery of services.

    Qualifications

    • BSc / MSc in Marketing, Sales or other Business Management Related roles
    • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Tech Sales, B2B sales in a Tech or Real Estate company is highly preferred.
    • Proven experience in commercial business development, with a successful track record in achieving sales targets.
    • Previous responsibility for generating own leads and managing complete sales cycle.
    • Demonstrable and quantifiable successes and track record in securing new business (B2B or B2C).
    • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Word).
    • Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer behavior.

    Must have skills

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.

    Internal Auditor

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute the processes for assessing and improving internal controls, accounting and operating procedures and financial reporting.
    • Develop and implement annual audit plan and ensure compliance to approved plans from all subsidiaries.
    • Review internal audit and regulatory compliance reports and monitor the implementation of the recommendations.
    • Approve and coordinate investigation into suspected fraudulent practices and determine/recommend the appropriate line of action in response to findings.
    • Continuously review/assess the business and operational risks facing the organization in order to proactively establish appropriate mitigating controls and monitoring mechanisms/frameworks.
    • Supervise the design and building of control frameworks in business processes and systems.
    • Interpret and analyze reports/data/information to identify possible risk exposure.
    • Ensure compliance with good corporate governance practice.
    • Prepare and submit periodic activity/management reports to the MD and board of the directors on activities of the department.
    • Serve on committees or cross-functional teams and perform other duties as assigned by the MD and board of directors.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
    • Professional Accounting/ Finance Certification from a reputable professional body, e.g. ACA, ACCA, ICAN is required.
    • Minimum of 10 years post-graduation experience in Financial Services with at least, 5 years’ experience in the financial management/accounting function
    • Working knowledge of IFRS.
    • Good knowledge of financial and IT systems controls
    • Flexible and able to operate in other Finance roles
    • Inclusive analytical ability – Root Cause Analysis
    • Ability to communicate at all levels including listed entity Audit Committees

    Project Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Managing multiple new and ongoing projects within the company and its subsidiaries.
    • Visiting project sites within the country.
    • Developing comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.

    • Proactively addressing and resolving issues to minimize project disruptions.
    • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
    • Conducting post-project evaluations to assess achievements and areas for improvement.
    • Fostering collaboration between different business units and subsidiaries.
    • Ensuring effective communication and coordination between project teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering or Information Technology.
    • Project Management Professional(PMP) certification is a plus.
    • Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in the power and energy industry
    • In-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Versatile expertise in electricity, solar technology, infrastructure, and fieldwork experience
    • Proficiency in translating observations into comprehensive reports
