    LPG Plant Cashier - Ughelli

    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the petty cash inflow and outflow, receiving and verifying payments as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions, lodgements, and petty cash expenses.

    We are recruiting to fill the position below:

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
    • Maintain records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
    • Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
    • Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
    • Reconcile all received cash with expenses, which have been recorded in the petty cash book.
    • Process payment for accounts and issue receipts.
    • Keep records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checks the cash balance against this record.
    • Collects money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements
    • File all documents concerning cash payment and collection
    • Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits, retirement deadlines, etc.
    • Retire the various imprest accounts.
    • Prepare daily and weekly Sales Collections and Expense Reports for review by the Plant Supervisor and Accounts Officer (Treasury).

    Person Specification:

    • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Finance/ Accounting or any related discipline.
    • Minimum of one(1) year of work experience in the Finance/ Treasury/ Accounts function in a similar organisation.

    LPG Plant Supervisor - Uyo

    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal, safe, and profitable operation of the Gas Plants, through the effective utilisation of human and material resources. The selected candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the plant staff adhere to operating procedures and policies.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Ensure strict compliance with all Safety guidelines for the operation of the plant
    • Coordinate Sales activities at the plants.
    • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to grow sales volumes and improve customer experience.
    • Record and report on daily plant sales and operations activities (physical and electronic report), including Automatic Meter readings, pump meter opening and closing readings, Sales quantity, and lodgements.
    • Enforce compliance with all housekeeping standards including dress code and cleanliness.
    • Supervise product receipt in strict compliance with the defined procedures.
    • Monitor and report on daily stock requirements.

    Person Specifications:

    Required:

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Engineering or a related discipline is required.
    • Minimum of Five (5) years relevant experience in Gas Operations with functional leadership of at least two (2) years in a similar role.

    Desired:

    • Master’s Degree
