    Videographer

    Location: Ibadna, Oyo

    Responsibilities

    • Working with creative teams and clients to plan video shoots
    • Editing footage after recording
    • Adding computer graphics, closed captioning and special effects to footage
    • Preparing background film, also called “B” rolls
    • Carry out research and preparation for shoots, staying current with industry trends, developments, and new techniques
    • Helps to sustain and guide creative process, assists in developing storyboards and mood boards for various shoots
    • Organize & catalogue studio equipment
    • Work with Internal Clients to discuss images and videos as they require for web and print
    • Providing inspired expertise in creating and editing video productions for streaming media, web, television, and live presentations
    • Supporting the learning organization in the successful planning and execution of video projects
    • Serving as a subject-matter expert on video related tasks and projects
    • Using high-definition video productions in the technical aspects of videography and editing
    • Attend and participate in pre-production meetings to ensure all details for the production are clear, and all required equipment and materials are available and ready for the shoot

    Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

    • Associate Degree in a relevant field is a plus
    • 3-5 years of professional experience directing and/or producing videos for brands, online publications or networks, or film and TV networks
    • Skilled in Photography and Videography
    • Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, AVID Editing Software or Final Cut Pro Editing software
    • Proficient in use of professional HD video camera
    • Knowledge of Audio Visual set up and maintenance

    • We are looking for a Professional Video Editor who will be responsible for reviewing audio and visual footage using computer software to organize clips into a cohesive unit.

    Responsibilities

    • Assembling raw footage and transferring or uploading to a computer
    • Following a script, screenplay or outline
    • Inputting sounds & graphics to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
    • Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
