    Accountant

    • S/he will be responsible for preparing financial statements, alongside diverse reports for managerial insights and decision-making.
    • S/he will assist in annual budgeting and forecasting while monitoring the organisation’s financial performance and recommending solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements, including project accounting, balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
    • Generate various financial reports and analysis to provide insights to management for decision-making purposes.
    • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with management and other units to gather relevant information and ensure alignment with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
    • Monitor budget-to-actual performance to identify variances and provide explanations as well as recommendations for corrective actions.
    • Prepare and submit accurate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all local, state and federal tax regulations.
    • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure the organisation's tax strategies remain effective and compliant
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth audit process
    • Analyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement and process improvement.
    • Provide insights into financial performance and assist in making informed strategic decisions.
    • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions and timely disbursement of employee salaries
    • Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to industry best practices.
    • Identify areas of inefficiency in financial processes and recommend and implement improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study.
    • Associate or membership certification from ICAN, ANAN or ACCA

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services or management consulting firm.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide insights.
    • Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive financial information.

    Chief Operations Officer

    • The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will have a crucial role in defining and implementing the operational and strategic goals of the company.
    • The COO will be tasked with planning, overseeing, evaluating, and enhancing the company’s asset

    Experience & Attributes

    • 10 years of proven experience in a senior management role, preferably as a Chief Operating Officer of a Fintech or Banking company or similar
    • Strong knowledge of business operations, finance, and strategy
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
    • Ability to make strategic decisions and drive organisational growth.

    Chief Product Officer

    • The Chief Product Officer will take the lead from product conception and discovery, through innovation, design, development, and launch with the end goal of delighting customers and creating a strong and strategic product vision and direction.
    • This multitasking role would involve taking charge of activity across an entire product lifecycle and managing a broad scope of initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Business Management, Economics, Marketing, Information Technology, or any relevant qualification. A Master's degree is an added advantage
    • Certifications in Product Management is an added plus.

    Experience & Attributes

    • At least 10 years of product management experience, preferably within the banking and Fintech sector.
    • Proven leadership abilities, capable of inspiring, motivating, and directing teams toward shared objectives.
    • Extensive involvement across the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch to ongoing enhancement, ensuring alignment of growth investments with sales strategy.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen interest in effectively engaging diverse audiences such as clients, partners, and investors.
    • Prior experience and involvement in a company that has undergone rapid scaling, from N100,000,000 million to N1,000,000,000 billion and beyond.
    • Demonstrated track record of successful product innovations and launches that have made a significant impact on the market.

    Chief Technology Officer

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree in a related field would be an added advantage.
    • Additional proficiency in UI/UX design, user research, agile, DevOps, and cloud-based software development methods is a plus.

    Experience & Attributes

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior technology leadership role with a focus on acquiring business within the fintech or financial services industry.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading technology teams and delivering acquiring solutions that drive business growth.
