    Trading Analyst

    Overview:

    • The role requires someone with a strong analytical mindset, a good knowledge of the financial market, familiarity with foreign exchange risk and a drive to perform. It entails providing engaging clients and other partner FX institutions to execute trades. While a junior role, it’s one with high visibility, responsibility, and opportunity for growth for the right candidate.

    Responsibilities:

    • Buy and sell currencies to leverage on the opportunities presented by anticipated market movements, based on identified FX gaps, in line with existing policies and without breaching stipulated trading limits. 
    • Manage risk across the various currencies/currency pairs, including G10 and other emerging market currencies, for which quotes are provided. 
    • Maintain and improve established and new relationships with partner FX institutions, accept trade orders, and grow trade volumes pricing.
    • Review reports and stay updated on relevant financial, economic and political news item 
    • Liaise with relevant teams for prompt settlement of trades executed and conduct daily reconciliation of position across all currencies held.
    • Daily interaction with the sales team and customers regarding order placement and execution
    • Maintains an excellent level of customer service with clients both internal and external.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, including Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related fields
    • A 1 - year hands -on experience is the threshold. 5 years would be optimal
    • Experience in the financial services industry preferably in a foreign exchange trading role
    • Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
    • Strong sense of urgency
    • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail
    • Experience with standard productivity tools, including microsoft office & G-suite
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    KYC Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete KYC onboarding for new( individual and corporate) and pre-existing customers by reviewing client documentation, vendor databases, and data entered into proprietary
    • Solid knowledge and understanding around AML, in particular KYC, EDD, and high-risk customers.
    • Ensure all appropriate information is contained in the KYC to meet all regulatory, legal, bank, and audit requirements
    • Liaise with Clients, Front Office, Credit, Legal, and Operations as necessary as part of the KYC process
    • Ownership of the KYC onboarding process from the initial introduction from sales through to integration handover
    • Undertake screening of clients against adverse media, PEP and Sanctions Lists
    • Manage and maintain client records for both new and existing clients and perform CDD/EDD for trigger events and periodic reviews.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Any compliance certification is a plus
    • Knowledge of AML/BSA-related regulations.
    • Strong team player, also able to work independently and take ownership of issues
    • Two years minimum experience in AML KYC or other AML/CTF and compliance-related functions.
    • Excellent written and spoken English and strong report-writing skills, including the ability to apply independent thought and analysis
    • Consistent improvement in organizational measures and policies to promote a positive culture of compliance with the organization and facilitate business growth
