    Human Resources Strategic Engagement Partner

    JOB SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Human Resource Strategic Engagement Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategy, exploring new markets and business opportunities, and driving business development and expansion initiatives. As a Human Resource Strategic Engagement Partner, you will be instrumental in aligning HR practices with our overall business objectives and contributing to the company's growth trajectory. You will provide excellent customer service to all internal and external stakeholders with a view to improving the company’s reputation and increasing revenue.

    Responsibilities:

    • Meet Clients expectations and deliver within stipulated timelines
    • Deliver high-impact presentations and proposals to senior leadership, outlining strategic HR and business expansion plans.
    • Maintain a 100% client satisfaction rate and prevent client loss due to operational or strategic issues.
    • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of HR strategies and business development initiatives, adjusting as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

    • Provide strategic HR guidance and advisory services to leaders and teams across the organization.
    • Drive business development initiatives to meet financial targets, including market research for new opportunities.
    • Identify and analyze potential new markets, business opportunities, and industry trends to drive growth and expansion.
    • Develop comprehensive business plans and strategies to enter and establish a presence in new markets.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to potential clients.
    • Develop a robust clients’ prospect list and define likely services to peach.
    • Prepare personalized proposal for each client/ prospect

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 4-6 years’ post NYSC experience in Human Resources Management.
    • MBA/ Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage
    • HR certification will be an added advantage e.g., CIPM, SPHRi.
    • Knowledge and practical experience in Staff verifications, Training, Business Development, Performance Management, Outsourcing and other HR Services

    Background Check Officer

    Job Summary:

    This role involves verifying the accuracy and completeness of candidate’s information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and analyzing data to support decision-making. As the Verifications Officer, you will be responsible for providing support to the Verifications unit on their mandate to conduct accurate and swift verifications, using your expertise in data analytics to gather data, analyze data and prepare data reports.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive background checks on candidates, including criminal history, academic verification, reference checks, etc.
    • Utilize various tools and databases to gather relevant information.
    • Analyze the data collected during background checks to identify inconsistencies, red flags, and discrepancies.
    • Use data insights to make informed recommendations
    • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to background checks.
    • Ensure that all background checks are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations.
    • Create detailed and accurate reports summarizing the results of background checks and data analysis.
    • Present findings to relevant stakeholders, highlighting potential risks and areas of concern.
    • Continuously improve background check processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
    • Suggest and implement enhancements to the tools and technologies used in background screening.
    • Communicate with candidates to obtain necessary information and documentation.
    • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders in academic institutions
    • Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive candidates’ information and background check data.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Proven experience in background check/ verifications
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data.
    • Knowledge in regulations pertaining to background checks.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

    Human Resources Manager (In-House)

    Job Summary:

    You will be responsible for providing turnkey HR services to both internal and external stakeholders. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, compliance, performance management and effective HR management to support the organization's overall goals and objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with Management to develop HR strategies that align with the company's mission, vision, and goals.
    • Analyze internal and external factors affecting HR functions and develop plans to address them.
    • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
    • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the organization.
    • Develop and implement talent development and retention strategies.
    • Create career development programs and succession planning to nurture internal talent.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
    • Stay updated on HR best practices and changes in employment laws and advise Management on updates.
    • Address and resolve employee concerns and grievances in a fair and consistent manner.
