    Quantity Surveyor

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct detailed cost estimation and prepare accurate bills of quantities based on project requirements, architectural drawings, and specifications.
    • Assess and analyze project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment, to ensure budgetary compliance.
    • Monitor project expenses, review expenditures, and provide regular reports on cost control, cost forecasting, and cost variances.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify and assess work progress, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Manage contractual relationships, including contract negotiations, change orders, claims, etc.
    • Prepare and review interim and final valuations, payment applications, and invoices for clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
    • Conduct thorough cost analysis and risk assessments to support decision-making processes during the project lifecycle.
    • Any other duties assigned by the management.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 7-8 years experience.

    Project Manager (Building)

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced and skilled Building Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate our building construction projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. Other responsibilities which will help achieve this include:

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement project plans and schedules.
    • Coordinate and manage project teams, including contractors and suppliers.
    • Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards.
    • Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
    • Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and quality.
    • Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
    • Ensure project deliverables meet quality and client requirements.
    • Manage project close-out, including final inspections and handovers.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
    • Minimum 10years of experience in building construction project management.
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering building construction projects.
    • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
    • Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

    Skills:

    • Experience in site supervision of construction works.
    • Strong knowledge of building industry standards related to architecture and construction.
    • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to travel to construction sites and project locations as needed.

    HSE Personnel

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an HSE Personnel to oversee our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities on site.
    • The successful candidate will take responsibility of ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees, contractors, and visitors on site.

    Responsibilities

    • Daily reporting on site.
    • Daily inspection of site workers to ensure all safety protocols are observed and full gadgets are worn while on site.
    • Periodically provide safety tips/training to site workers.
    • Collaborate with all staff, contractors and visitors on site to ensure HSE compliance.
    • Provide weekly and monthly reports of HSE activities/incidents on site.
    • Keep up-to-date with changing HSE regulations and best practices

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in HSE or related field
    • 12+ years of experience in HSE management
    • HSE certification (e.g., HSE 1,2 & 3, NEBOSH)
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
