    Procurement Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers.
    • Liaise with vendors and suppliers on behalf of the restaurant and compare proposals for price and specifications.
    • Secure products and services at the best possible price without compromising on quality or service.
    • Review, negotiate, and agree on contracts, monitoring the quality of service and product provided.
    • Ensure all products ordered are received, accounted for, and processed, both physically and on internal systems, to ensure the best due process.
    • Assist the kitchen staff to optimize the cost of raw materials and controlcosts by researching products and collaborating with internal and external teams to source the best products and follow best practices.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of HND in Business Administration / Purchasing & Supply / Accounting / Hospitality Management / or related field.
    • At least 2 year of experience as a Procurement Officer in the food and beverage, culinary, or related area is a must.
    • MS Office proficiency and knowledge of any ERP software are added advantages.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills with strong negotiation skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively to ensure transparency on all matters.
    • In-depth knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
    • Outstanding numerical skills and the ability to pay attention to details.
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
    • Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.

    Remuneration

    • Salary: N80,000 - N90,000 Monthly.
    • Other Benefits: Monthly Support Allowance.

    Administrative Officer

    Duties

    • Ensuring the premise is in pristine condition at all times
    • Renewal of all vehicle papers and monitoring expiring dates
    • Act as the point of contact between the management and vendors
    • Respond accurately to internal and external information requests
    • Preparing weekly administrative reports
    • Overseeing ad hoc administrative and project requirements as needed.
    • Routine check of the facilities to ensure compliance with safety laws
    • Renewal of all facilities certificates such as fire service, fumigation, HSE etc.
    • Ensure all Company asset including appliances are properly maintained and serviced for operations
    • Ensuring the facilities meet daily operational needs and liaise with artisans for maintenance.
    • Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required.

    Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc. Degree
    • A minimum of 2 years working experience
    • Must live in close proximity to the location
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize the daily workload.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive problem-solving and flexibility is important.
    • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
    • Fast learner and must be able to pay attention to details.
    • In-depth knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

    Internal Control Officer

    Job Description

    • An Internal Control Officer is needed at J-Six Chicken, a subsidiary of J-Six Group. The successful candidate will ensure employee and departmental compliance with company policies and processes, detecting, escalating and eliminating fraud from the system, and conducting regular audits.

    Key Areas of Functionality

    • Inventory
    • Internal Cash Handling
    • Financial.

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting regular control checks on cash, inventory, expenses, dispatch and production reports.
    • Reporting any discrepancies identified to the Management.
    • To identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost saving.
    • To obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
    • Conducting risk assessment of all departments.
    • Reporting risk management issues and internal control deficiencies identified directly to Management and providing recommendations for improving the organization's operations.
    • Evaluating and ensuring compliance with the existing company policies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications as needed.
    • Identifying areas of strength and weakness and engaging in continuous education and staff development.
    • Reviewing the responses to internal and external audit management letters and queries to ensure that recommendations are implemented and to ensure that all action items are resolved.
    • Evaluating information security and associated risk exposures.
    • Evaluating regulatory compliance programs.
    • Evaluating the organization's readiness in case of business interruption.
    • Providing support to the company's anti-fraud programs.
    • Preparation of centre monthly reports.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting or any other related field.
    • 2 - 3 years’ experience in financial audit in the hospitality sector is a must.
    • A strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and interpretation.
    • Proficient in Accounting software
    • Working knowledge of MS Excel, i-class will be an added advantage..
    • Ability to work as a stand alone and pay attention to details.
    • Excellent communication skills.
