    Academic Affairs Officer

    Job Description 

    • As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire an Academic Affairs Officer to support our expanding enrollment of students.
    • This role will support the Academic Directorate in managing academic records including enrollment of students, managing and dissemination of academic credentials, and other functions associated with the academic registry.
    • Successful candidates will be expected to have prior experience working in a school managing and maintaining student records and activities with a suitable school management system.
    • He/she will be expected to bring first-hand knowledge of managing the various activity streams needed to ensure seamless and secure management of student records and credentials.

    Requirements
    The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:

    • First-hand experience managing academic records in a school.
    • Ability to organize and improve the recordkeeping function in an academic registry.
    • Ability to interface with students and parents to ensure that their needs are met in a timely manner.

    Program Manager (Scientific & Technical Services)

    Job Description 

    • As our programs grow rapidly, IDMANN Institute is looking for a Program Manager (Scientific & Technical Services) to drive the expansion of value-added scientific services and to oversee the technical team that provides affordable, world-class technical entrepreneurship training to our students.
    • The Program Manager will be responsible for providing outstanding scientific and engineering services that support our training and development programs.

    Responsibilities 
    Prospective applicants should note the following:

    • This is a full-time position based in our facilities in Umuahia, Abia State. Successful applicants will be expected to relocate to Umuahia.
    • The individual will have a background in the Physical, Natural or Engineering Sciences and will be expected to meet the following responsibilities:
    • Acts as a field application scientist.
    • Coordinate and execute assigned research projects.
    • Design and oversee laboratory experiments on a routine basis.
    • Lead research efforts to complete projects within allotted timelines and budgets.
    • Develop and enforce research policies and procedures.
    • Address project issues and escalate complex issues to management.
    • Perform day-to-day management of project teams and address any team issues promptly.
    • Act as primary contact for scientific project communications.
    • Document and report project progress, status, and issues if any to client on regular basis.
    • Prepare project documentation and research reports for management review.
    • Work with management to prepare project plans, budgets and schedules.

    Job Requirements

    • A Degree in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
    • Ability to develop appropriate assays to support analytical work.
    • Ability to conduct team meetings to discuss project status and issues.
    • Monitor project progress regularly and report the same to management and students.
    • Demonstrable ability to deliver research projects and execute managerial responsibilities and duties.

    Description 

    • IDMANN Institute provides training in professional development and technical entrepreneurship through our College of General Studies and the School of Experiential Learning, respectively.
    • We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered online in live sessions with seasoned instructors.
    • As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to support our expanding operations.
    • This role will support the Academic Directorate in general administrative including interfacing with students and parents (domestic and international), supporting research projects to meet specific objectives, data entry, and other general administrative duties.

    Requirements
    The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:

    • Superior organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and overlapping responsibilities, all while working remotely.
    • Exceptional writing skills as well as good facility with social media and other communication tools.
    • Outstanding verbal presentation, especially on the telephone.

    Job Description

    • This role will support the management team by creating timely, appropriate and engaging social media content for our students and prospective trainees, as well as running email, online and other outreach campaigns as needed.
    • This position will require clear and ongoing understanding of all aspects of our operation in order to provide proper and effective digital media presence.
    • Successful candidates will be expected to have prior experience working as executive or administrative assistants, or as social media assistants, preferably in an educational establishment.

    Requirements

    Business Manager (Training & Educational Services)

    Job Description 

    • As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire a Business Manager to drive the offering of our services. We intend to hire two business managers, one to focus on technical entrepreneurship and personal development courses offered by IDMANN Institute, and the other to focus on early childhood education and academic development offerings by IDMANN Academy.
    • Given the international nature of these assignments, candidates must bring an awareness of life and social developments inside and outside of Nigeria. Successful candidates will be expected to interact daily and seamlessly with colleagues and associates in a number of countries. Comfort with this kind of cross-border engagement is central to this role.

    Requirements

    • Experience with managing or delivering training, learning and/or knowledge services, with an emphasis on early childhood education (in the case of IDMANN Academy).
    • Experience with developing and/or running educational, vocational or human capital development programs (in the case of IDMANN Academy).
    • Prior experience as an educational administrator or a program administrator in an international development program would be a distinct advantage.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and direct human capital proficiently and effectively, preferably in an educational setting. Prior experience with managing remote teams would be a distinct advantage.
    • First-hand facility with business development, preferably in an educational setting. Prior experience working in an international or cross-border engagement would be preferable.
    • Ability to act as an effective ambassador for IDMANN. Personal comportment and presence will be significant factors in this regard.
    • Demonstrably outstanding organizational capabilities.
    • Seamless ability to interface with (domestic & international) instructors, students, parents, regulators and associates alike.

    Additional:

    • This job is based in Umuahia, Abia State. Successful applicants will be expected to reside and work in Umuahia to ensure access to power and internet access that is so critical to this cross-border assignment.
