    Business Hub Dispatch Officer

    Job Description

    This job role directs the switching operations within the Business Hub to manage the energy allocated in line with SLA

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering;
    • Over 3 years’ Experience as an operator in Technical Operations 

    Technical competencies

    • Technical knowledge and understanding of the Business Hub networks & infrastructure.
    • Deep understanding of principles and power distribution operations
    • Good knowledge of materials used in electrical power systems.
    • Safety and basic standard protection
    • Personal safety on the job awareness level.
    • Understanding of electrical distribution Regulations and system

    Job Responsibility

    • Directs the operation of all Network Activities in the Business Hub. 
    • Maintains daily operating log on all operations both routine and emergencies.  
    • Receive hourly load readings from the Control Room and report all operations to the regional dispatch.
    • Approves outages on 11kv feeders.
    • Liaises with relevant stakeholders in load coordination.
    • Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders.
    • Perform any other duty as requested by the Technical Engineer or the Supervisor

    Business Hub Dispatch Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; A post graduate qualification in power systems engineering or equivalent will be an added advantage
    • Over 3 years’ Experience as a Dispatch Officer.

    Job Description

    This job role projects the brand identity by ensuring the execution of brand goals (marketing initiatives and communication) across the business for the purpose of fostering goodwill and delivering stakeholders value in line with the company’s Business goals.

    Job Requirements

Support the implementation of all approved communication plans to complement revenue drive and brand visibility. 6. Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports (memos, letters, reports, etc.) to Line Head and other relevant stakeholders. 7. Carry out any other duties as directed by the Line Heads.

    Job Description

    This job role is to implement processes and procedures that will ensure a safe working environment for all IBEDC stakeholders thereby improving workers’ productivity, loss reduction, and improving company’s brand image at large in line with the business objective region-wide.

    Job Requirements

    • A fist degree in safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or any related discipline.
    • A postgraduate degree in any related discipline is an added advantage. Membership of relevant professional bodies. (ISPON); (BCSP); (ISHM).
    • At least 5 years’ experience in the HSE field within a relevant industry (Utilities, oil and gas, telecommunications etc.)
