    Registrar

    Responsibilities

    • The Registrar shall be responsible to the Rector for the day to day administration of the College and shall perform such other duties as the Rector may from time to time require him/her to do
    • He shall be the Secretary to the Council, the Academic Board and any Committee of the Council and shall attend all the meetings of these bodies unless excused by the Council/Rector,
    • Participate in the formation, execution and review of policies as may be directed by the Rector/Council;
    • Taking charge of the Registry, keeping statutory and other relevant records of the Institution;
    • Conduct the correspondence of the Council and the Rector as may be directed; and
    • Perform such other functions as the Council or the Rector may from time to time assign to him/her.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Candidates must possess a good first degree in Arts, Social Science or Humanities plus at least 20 years post NYSC cognate experience or Masters in the relevant discipline plus at least 18 years post qualification cognate experience or a relevant Doctorate degree in the relevant discipline with at least 16 years post qualification cognate experience;
    • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field is an added advantage;
    • Working experience in a degree awarding Tertiary Institution is an added advantage;
    • Membership of a recognized professional body is mandatory; and
    • Candidate must have been promoted to the rank of Deputy Registrar for not less than three (3) years in a recognized degree awarding Tertiary Institution.
    • Should not be older than sixty (60) years of age upon appointment and should be within the sixty-five (65) years retirement age at the expiration of his/her tenure.

    Salary and Conditions of Service

    • Salary and conditions of service shall be in accordance with the Public Service salary structure for this category of Officers.

    Tenure

    • Successful Candidates shall hold office for a 5-year single tenure and no more.

    Librarian

    Responsibilities

    • The Librarian shall be responsible to the Rector for the administration of the College Library and the co-ordination of the library services in the teaching Departments of the College;
    • Perform such other library functions as the Rector may assign to him/her.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Candidates must possess a good Post graduate qualification (Ph.d) in Library Science from a recognized degree awarding Institution. In addition to other relevant qualifications. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption is mandatory.
    • Candidates must be dully registered with the relevant professional bodies. Candidates must have not less than twenty (20) years of post-qualification experience; and
    • Candidate must not be below the rank of Deputy Librarian for not less than three (3) years in a recognized degree awarding Tertiary Institution.
    • Should not be older than sixty (60) years of age upon appointment and should be within the sixty-five (65) years retirement age at the expiration of his/her tenure.

    Director, Health Services

    Responsibilities

    • The Director of Health Services is responsible to the Rector for the organisation and functioning of the Medical and Dental Services of the College.
    • He/She is also responsible for coordinating the treatment of members of staff and their families as well as the students of the College.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Prospective candidates should possess an M.B.B.S.. B.D.S. or equivalent medical degree plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption.
    • Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent is compulsory.
    • A higher degree will be an advantage.
    • In addition, he/she must be duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and have a minimum of twenty (20) years post-qualification experience in clinical medicine and public health work in comparable degree awarding health institution.
    • Applicants must be ICT compliant. In addition, there will be IT proficiency test for all applicants.
    • Should not be older than sixty (60) years of age upon appointment and should be within the sixty-five (65) years retirement age at the expiration of his/her tenure.

    Director, Works and Physical Planning

    Responsibilities
    The Director, Works and Physical Planning is responsible to the Rector for:

    • The day-to-day maintenance, planning, development and management of the College physical structures;
    • Coordination and supervision of physical development projects, ensuring quality standards and maintenance of structures in the College;
    • Supervision, monitoring and coordinating of all staff and activities of the Directorate;
    • Ensure compliance with the provisions of the College Physical Masterplan and its update from time-time;
    • Prepare and present to Management quarterly and annual reports on state of the Physical facilities in the College and ongoing and or planned projects;
    • Design and maintain an excellent reticulation of power, data and water supplies to all units of the College;
    • Carrying out other duties as may be assigned by the Rector.

    Qualifications and Experience
    Candidate for this post shall:

    • Candidates should possess a good Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or any other relevant degree from a recognized degree awarding Institution with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division, plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption;
    • Candidate should be computer literate and proficient in relevant computer applications as applicable in running a modern Works and Physical Planning Directorate;
    • The candidate must possess professionally recognized certificate with current practicing license (COREN. ARCON, QSRBN, CORBON) as well as not less than twenty (20) years post qualification Engineering experience;
    • In addition, he/she must have at least ten (10) years of relevant experience in a senior management position preferably in a degree awarding institution.
    • Should not be older than sixty (60) years of age upon appointment and should be within the sixty-five (65) years retirement age at the expiration of his/her tenure.

    • Salary and conditions of service shall be in accordance with the Public Service salary structure for this category of Officers.
