    Reparatory Operator (Soya Bean Plant)

    Job Purpose

    • The incumbent is to efficiently and effectively prepare and condition soyabeans for the extraction that follows.
    • The preparatory operator plays a critical role in ensuring that the soyabeans entering our processing facility are of the highest quality, free from impurities, and optimally processed for subsequent stages.

    Duties / Responsibilities

    • Receive incoming soyabean into the plant for processing.
    • Ensure adequate feeding into the seed elevator to align with target
    • Operate the preparatory equipment in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Monitor and control the flow of soyabeans through the preparatory equipment.
    • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure incoming soyabeans meet required standards.
    • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate records of soyabean preparation activities, include quantities processed and any deviations from standard procedures.
    • Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between operators.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring working environment.
    • Must be able to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals.
    • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
    • Accountability for assigned works with attention to detail is a must have.

    Educational Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum of OND in Engineering (Electrical, Production, or industrial Engineering, or related field).
    • Proven experience of 3-5 years as a preparatory operator or similar role in a soyabean processing plant.
    • Age Requirement: 23-35 Years

     Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Good teaming skills.
    • Baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
    • Ability to think out of the box.
    • Robust experience in troubleshooting, motor checks & repairs
    • Should be knowledgeable on general maintenance mechanics.
    • Should have basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting.

    Fitter / Welder / Machinist (Soybean Plant)

    Job Purpose

    • The Fitter / Welder / Machinist will be responsible for all maintenance work during production to reduce plant downtime.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Servicing, repairing and statutory compliance relating to heavy equipment in soya plant environment.
    • Investigate, diagnose repair machine faults.
    • Maintain and fit faulty pumps and gearboxes for proper operational excellence.
    • Routine pre and post equipment checks as per checklist.
    • Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between operators.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring working environment.
    • Must be able to synergize with other departments to achieve set goals.
    • Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
    • Accountability for assigned works with attention to detail is a must.

    Educational Qualifications and Experience

    • Minimum of OND in engineering (Mechanical, or related field).
    • Proven experience of 3-5 years as a Fitter/Welder/Machinist or similar role in a soyabean processing plant.

    • The Boiler Operator is to generate high quality steam from both LPFO boiler and Firewood boiler as per Standard Operating Procedure.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Operate, control and adjust manual and automatic controls to either increase or decrease feed water to boiler for maintenance of proper and safe water level in the boiler drum.
    • Obtain and maintain maximum boiler combustion efficiency.
    • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure incoming water for boiler operator meet required standards.
    • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate record plant operational metrics as per checklist
    • Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between operators.

    Processing Quality Officer (Soybean Plant)

    Job Purpose

    • To ensure sampling, testing, reporting, recording of all SBS arrivals, in-process and final products.

    Duties / Responsibilities

    • Routine analyses of all raw materials, intermediate and final product in line with Standard Operating Procedures
    • Routine Standardisation of all chemical reagents and caliberation of test equipment.
    • Prompt escalation and reporting of deviations in raw materials, intermediates and final products for conformity to standards.
    • Provide detailed shift reports to ensure smooth transitions between officers.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring working environment.

    • Sound experience in analyses of SBS, SBM, CSO and RSO is a must.

    • The Refinery Operator is to operate processing equipment, optimize plant efficiencies and maintain log equipment checks as per Standard Operating Procedures

    • Understand processing schedules, operating logs, test oil samples results and identify equipment controls changes to produce specified product quantity and quality
