    Inventory Officer

    Reports to: Head Commercial

    Job Summary

    The inventory officer is responsible for handling inventory management responsibilities that include effective and organised safekeeping of inventory, ensuring optimum levels of inventory is maintained at all times at quality standards and proper distribution and adequate tracking of inventory records. 

    Main Responsibilities

    • The inventory officer is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the supplies from the stock.
    • To oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system at the various warehouses so that the stocks can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. 
    • He/she supervises and manages the procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking. Ensures that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouses.
    • He/she is also involved in preparing the inventories, maintaining the stock records, using computerized systems for entering the records and is accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders.
    • He/she is responsible for preparing weekly reports of all activities in the warehouses.
    • He/she flags surplus or obsolete stock from time to time.
    • To maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse so as to ensure accuracy and completeness
    • To be involved in reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system
    • To undertake the function of stock taking and conduct periodic stock count and audit on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members
    • To ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory and to be involved in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking

    Who we are looking for:

    • You must be a graduate of the Business, Accounting, Logistics or related fields
    • A minimum of 3 yrs of inventory management experience is an added advantage
    • He/She must possess good analytical and organizational skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate collaborative work style, strong leadership skills and should have the ability to take proper decisions and act independently whenever necessary
    • He/she must have the ability to manage administrative work with good planning and numeric skills.
    • He/she should have a methodical approach to complete the assigned work and should pay strong attention to detail.
    • Result-oriented and ability to work in a dynamic environment with increasing levels of responsibility 
    • Strong professionally – credible, flexible, honest and trustworthy
    • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. 
    • Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to use CRM modules.

    Business Development Executive (Key Accounts)

    Job Summary

    • The Business Development Executive (Key Accounts), is responsible for improving and growing the Gennex business by developing and deepening relationships with our dealers and distributors. He/She will be responsible for consistent, long term profitable growth in sales revenues from these customers. 

    Main Responsibilities

    • Design an aggressive business development strategy to achieve sales targets through distributors and dealer. Drive the implementation
    • Identify and generate new business leads and opportunities for the business across locations and states in the country
    • Own the sales/revenue targets and drive marketing activities to achieve same
    • Develop business proposals for existing and new customers; establish a knowledge storehouse of clients, referrals, presentations, and prospects.
    • Supervise database of client relationship management and utilize the result to manage customers and the mailing lists
    • Liaise with the finance team, warehousing, and logistics departments as appropriate to ensure products get to customers on due dates.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to enhance business expansion and improve market share in all product lines.
    • Participate in forums related to the industry; conferences and client discussions. In other words, act as a representative of the company
    • Conduct research and constantly analyze the market trends to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Any other duty of similar responsibility assigned

    Who we are looking for:

    • You must be a graduate of the Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Technology and Administration or related fields
    • A minimum of 2 yrs business development experience, managing and providing solutions to distributors and dealers in the Off-grid solar sector (very important)
    • Experience managing sales pipelines and solid track record of achieving and surpassing aggressive sales/revenue objectives
    • Result-oriented and ability to work in a dynamic environment with increasing levels of responsibility 
    • Strong professionally – credible, flexible, honest and trustworthy
    • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. 
    • Proficient use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
