    Africa of Our Dream Initiative (AODI) was founded by David Chukwuma Izuogu as an expansion of his charity academy, Chucks Academy at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. The Academy which was founded in September 2008 focused on helping undergraduate science students at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka on chemistry-related courses by organising well-attended tutorial classes especially for the first-year students.

    Interns

    • We seek a dynamic and motivated Intern to join the AODI family.
    • You will support our organization's administrative functions and operations, contributing to the efficient and effective management of our programs and initiatives.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's Degree.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanour.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and familiarity with office equipment and software
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

    HR Manager (Voluntary)

    • We seek a people-passionate HR Manager to join us on a volunteer part-time basis.
    • You will play a vital role in supporting the organization's mission by leading HR initiatives, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring the well-being and development of our staff.

    Desired Attributes:

    • A Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree.
    • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources Management.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a record of effectively managing HR functions and leading change initiatives.
    • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements in Nigeria
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.

    Social Media Manager (Voluntary)

    • We seek a creative social media manager to Join the AODI family on a part-time volunteer basis.
    • You will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies to raise awareness of our organization's mission, engage our audience, and drive meaningful impact.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree
    • You have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in Social Media Management.
    • A proven track record of successfully managing social media accounts and executing effective campaigns that drive engagement and impact.
    • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
    • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
