    General Manager

    Description

    • The General Manager (GM) shall work with the Heads of a Schools to achieve the overall objectives and set goals of the institute in line with its strategy in the areas of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Ministry and Governance. You will provide strategic leadership for the institution, ensuring smooth set up and achievement of strategic objectives of each school, as well as oversee day-to-day operational activities of the institute.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Build and nurture quality relationships with key stakeholders in the education, business, government, and ministry space in Nigeria for the purpose of promoting the mission and vision of the institute.
    • Strategically support administrative components of all programs, including contract negotiations/ procurements, disbursement and reporting.
    • Consistently develop and nurture teams as well as integrate staffing programs designed to attract the highest caliber of talent/ volunteers.
    • Oversee preparation of the annual budget and other necessary financial documents, whilst providing the BOT in its annual budgetary review and approval process.
    • Lead and develop relevant capabilities and agreements for the institute in the areas of strategic partnerships and collaboration with reputable organizations, government agencies, high net-worth/ philanthropic individuals and other educational institutions globally.
    • Provide operational oversight over programme managers/ coordinators, team leads development and execution of programs.
    • Facilitate the effective implementation of programs according to established corporate governance codes as well as global best standards.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Social Development ( MSC/ MBA is a plus).
    • Trained educator, training and development Specialist with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
    • Candidates must have experience within a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
    • Strong leadership and management experience.
    • Proven success in leading/ contributing to program development and implementation.
    • Excellent report writing skills with proven organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong coordination and leadership skills with proven ability to work across multiple technical areas simultaneously.

    Business Development Manager

    Description

    • The Business Development Manager shall work with volunteers and full-time staff to achieve the overall objectives and set goals of the institute, in line with its strategy in the areas of Leadership, entrepreneurship, Ministry and Governance.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Promote the institute's visibility and programs through participation and membership in local as well as global community forums, civic organizations and social intervention spaces that align with key objectives.
    • Develop relevant capabilities and agreements for the institute in the areas of strategic partnerships and collaboration with reputable organizations, government agencies, high net worth/ philanthropic individuals, and other educational institutions globally.
    • Promote a culture of sustainable development across all the institute programs,and align them to the institute mission, vision, and objectives.
    • Collaborate with the management team to consistently develop and nurture teams as well as integrate staffing programs designed to attract the highest caliber of talent/ volunteers.
    • Support the successful design, development, and deployment of all the institute programs, courses, research, and educational interventions, ensuring that goals and objectives align with the institute strategy.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and roll out courses for the institute across the different schools.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Science, or Social Development ( MBA is a plus).
    • Strong leadership and management experience and proven success in leading/ contributing to business development, program development, budgeting, and implementation.
    • Strong report writing skills, including financial reports, with proven organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong coordination and leadership skills with proven ability to work across multiple technical areas simultaneously, supporting and mentoring multiple volunteer/ staff members.
    • Training and development specialist with a minimum of 5 years.

    Admin Manager

    Description

    • The Admin Manager shall work with volunteers and full-time staff to achieve the overall objective and set goals of the institute in line with its strategy for leadership and management. You will oversee day-to-day operational activities of the institute.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure all the relevant paperwork for partners and other relevant organizations and affiliates are fully in place and signed.
    • Coordinate all operations to ensure the effective execution of all the institute schools and initiatives, collaborating with programme managers/ coordinators and team leads.
    • Facilitate the effective implementation of programs according to established corporate governance code as well as global best standards.
    • Lead administrative components of all programs, including contract negotiations/ procurements, disbursement and reporting, etc.
    • Share reports and updates with the Business Development Manager and the Management Team and contribute to the development of the annual budget.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Social Development (MSC/ MBA is a plus).
    • Admin and Operations Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
    • Candidates must have experience within a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
    • Good leadership and management experience.
    • Proven success in leading/ contributing to operations within a learning institution.
    • Excellent report writing skills with proven organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Strong coordination and leadership skills with proven ability to work across multiple technical areas simultaneously.
    • Strong people and management skills with proven ability to support and mentor multiple volunteers and staff members.
