    Field Supervisor (Operations)

    Job Description

    The Field Operator Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead a team of operators to deliver simple and complex activities in the plant.
    • Manage the shutdown permitry and isolation management process.
    • Apply the emergency response procedure where and when necessary.
    • Report and close out UA/UC.
    • Serves as PTW signatory
    • Apply the HSSE policy, legislations applicable to crude oil transfer and export.
    • Adhere to plant operational procedures.
    • Monitor, control and record production rates and performance.
    • Start-up wells and facilities (hot and cold start).
    • Perform basic troubleshooting on wells and facilities to ensure stability.
    • Perform daily first line monitoring of process parameters and variables.
    • Gather daily production data, determine the production performance.
    • Participate in console review meeting, Daily notification and YTT review meeting
    • Prepare daily production report for DPR
    • Execute daily communication and Shift handover
    • Ensure optimized chemical injection rates are followed as advised.
    • Prepare equipment for maintenance interventions plant isolation etc.
    • Collaborate with other disciplines to execute planned activities.
    • Prepare the wells and facilities/equipment for (re) commencement of production/processing.
    • Perform monthly well test and sampling of producing wells.
    • Perform periodic well integrity assurance tasks and activities.
    • Supervise preparation of equipment for maintenance including isolation, draining, steaming, and other procedures as required.

    Qualification:    

    • A higher qualification (HND/Bachelors) in any science or engineering discipline.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 12 years working as a field operations support, technician or permit coordinator in an oil and gas producing field location.
    • Must have at least five (5) years’ experience in Gbaran-Ubie and Kolo-Creek operations, SPDC.
    • Ability to read and interpret process engineering flow schemes (PEFS) and process drawings.
    • Skill level knowledge in running/managing in permit coordination.
    • Basic understanding of Distributed control system. Preferably Yokogawa DCS
    • Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
    • Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
    • Problem-solving and good analytical skills.
    • Self-Motivated and performs under minimal supervision
    • Demonstration of a full knowledge of wellhead systems & integrity management (installation, completion and testing of various components and seals)
    • Experience in actuator valves and ESD systems operation.
    • Experience in oil wellhead operations and troubleshooting skills.
    • A good understanding of the working principles of field instrumentation and process automation systems.
    • Ability to understand and perform production operations (volume, pressure) calculation.
    • Ability to understand unit of various variables i.e., pressure, volume, flowrate etc.
    • Onsite Hazards identification and Risk assessment capability.
    • Flexibility and adaptability.
    • Problem-solving and good analytical skills.

    Field Supervisor (Mechanical)

    Job Description

    The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

    • Lead a team of Mechanical Technicians to deliver simple and complex activities in the plant.
    • Interpretation of machine and equipment maintenance manuals, technical drawings and diagnosis.
    • Repair, installation, and maintenance of Pumps, static and rotating equipment.
    • Use of diagnostic tools and mechanical hand tools for fault tracing, vibration detection and activity executions.
    • Asset Care routine to ensure PM/CM close-out and Integrity of Asset maintained.
    • Work preparations and material staging for work executions
    • Routine machinery and equipment servicing
    • Daily parameter logging, records and mechanical lubricants management.
    • Routine fabrication using welding tools and materials.
    • Machining activities: lathe, grinding, drilling, dicing etc

    Job Risk Assessments / Permit to Work preparation

    • Identifying critical spares and follow-up ordering and delivery.
    • Flange breaks, positive isolation, vessel de-sanding activities
    • Promotes site safety and continuous hazard identification, mitigation and close-out.
    • Work closely with service Contractor(s) towards safe delivery of vendor-based maintenance jobs.
    • Other assignments for continuous improvements as exigent.

    Job Specification

    Qualification:  

    • A higher qualification B.Engr/HND in Mechanical Engineering Discipline.      

    Key Skills:

    • Disassemble/Assemble and Maintain Rotating and static equipment, Compressors, and turbines.
    • Experience in Caterpillar Engines G342, G3412, G3512
    • Experience in Emsco and Sulzer pumps; and flender gear systems.
    • Experience in Atlas Copco SF11 and mobile compressors
    • Experience in Valves maintenance.
    • Experience in Pump Fluid-end inspections and driver/gear alignments.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Skill in Equipment troubleshooting and fault analysis
    • Basic workshop machinery and welding machine use

    Soft Skills:

    • Computer literate (Competent user of Microsoft Office and ability to liaise with programs)
    • Knowledge and use of SAP tool
    • Knowledge of worksite hazard management
    • Ability to multitask effectively
    • Good Communication skills & a team player
    • Ability to work under pressure with resilience
    • Good organizational skills
    • Flexibility and adaptability.
    • Self-Motivated and performs under minimal supervision

    Telecom/Communication Supervisor (DCS)

    Job Purpose

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Ensure performance assurance and proactive health checks of the associated components of (HIMA Logic Solver)
    • Ensure periodic health checks on Human Machine Interface workstations and Servers. Systems fault diagnosis and recovery.
    • Access and interpret Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID); Cause and Effects Matrix (C&E); Process Flow     Scheme
    • (PFS); Functional Logic Diagram (FLD); Instrument Loop Drawings (ILD) and Process Engineering Flow Scheme (PEFS) required for fault tracing and issues resolutions.
    • Work closely with service Contractor(s) towards safe delivery of vendor-based maintenance jobs.
    • Initiate and follow up with spares procurement towards expedited delivery for maintenance execution.
    • Ensure technical integrity of assets through Preventive and Corrective Maintenance activities, quality assurance and
    • performance standard verification of safety critical equipment
    • Technically support Operations personnel towards plant safe operations.
    • Ensure field instrumentation availability and reliability towards meeting business targets on hydrocarbon processing and export operations.
    • Maintain Systems availability for the continuous operation of the Flow station and Gas plant.
    • Identifying critical spares and follow-up ordering and delivery.
    • Integrate with other disciplines to achieve Asset integrity on continuous basis.
    • Promotes site safety and continuous hazard identification, mitigation and close-out.
    • Other assignments for continuous improvements as exigent.

    Requirements

    • A qualification (HND/Bachelors) in electrical/electronic/Computer Engineering.
    • 7-10yrs work experience in Instrumentation within the oil and gas Industry.
    • Vendor Specific System Engineers’ Competence Level certification will be an added advantage.

    Skills

    • Proficient in Field Instrumentation PM & CM for both HART and Fieldbus communication protocols
    • Experience in CAO/SCADA/ PLC (Allen Bradley)
    • Experience in Control Loop design, Implementation, and commissioning
    • Experience in actuator valves and ESD systems maintenance
    • Experience in PAS and fire protection systems Maintenance
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in Engineering and Maintenance of HIMA systems
    • Proficient in Engineering and Maintenance of Delta V systems.
    • Experience in Control System Maintenance
    • Basic Knowledge of PI System
    • Strong Communication & interpersonal relationship skills
    • Proficiency in Onsite risk management.
    • Proficiency in the use of MS Tools and SAP.
