    Admin and Shared Services Manager - Cement Industry

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient administrative processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the efficient delivery of shared services such as facilities management, office administration, procurement, and logistics.

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure a smooth and professional working environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Arrange travel and accommodations.
    • Schedule in-house and external events.
    • Allocation and furnishing of offices/ residential accommodate
    • Environmental/Waste management and control including the general housekeeping of factory premises, Estates and offices.
    • Liaising with the Materials Management department for the procurement and supply of stationery and other office utilities.
    • Staff transport management including allocation of vehicles for official journeys and assignments and approval of requests for repairs of official vehicles.
    • Procurement and supply of office welfare items including refreshment and toiletries.
    • Liaising with the concerned departments to ensure effective provision of communication facilities for the workers.
    • Management of) Housing Estates (maintenance, renovation, allocation, revocation of houses).
    • Procurement and Supply of Household Items for both Local and Expatriate Staff at the Estates
    • Maintenance of Facilities in the Plant and Estates
    • Canteen Administration for Expatriate and Local Staff.
    • Estate Renovation – Assessment of Houses to be renovated, renovation with in-house or third party contract, supervision and allocation of renovated houses to approved Staff members.
    • Assist the Head, HAM/Admin with HAM/Admin Vendor and Third Party Workers Management (Bill Payment, Discipline, Replacement, Identity Management, and Assessment).
    • Collation and Preparation of Plant General Administration Budget.
    • Liaise with Social Performance, HSE and Sustainability for Compliance issues.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • B.Sc./ HND Business Administration/Management/Humanities, Law etc.
    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in similar role
    • CIPM membership will be an added advantage
    • Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer. Administrator or similar role
    • Solid knowledge of office procedures.
    • Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
    • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Business Intelligence Analyst

    Description

    The Business Performance Analyst ensures the collation, and presentation of a well distinct and analysed data for business decision. This role researches, evaluates and provides real time commercial/business data to determine organization’s performance, profitability and possible areas of improvement.

    • Develop and implement data analysis techniques, leverage data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality in decision making.
    • Prepare, analyse, and summarize various weekly, monthly, and periodic operational reports for use by various key stakeholders.
    • Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business.
    • Schedule, attend meetings as required and take notes from the meetings. Follow up on actions to until closure.
    • Handle correspondences with BU’s and other stakeholders in ensuring information is being managed and passed on a timely and accurate manner.
    • Provide strong and timely commercial and business analysis to support business decisions. Provide support to business partners relating to commercial function.
    • Interpret data, analyse results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques.
    • Create reports, specifications, instructions, and flowcharts
    • Support the business in research, documentations, process implementations. Work on different projects of interest to the commercial function as assigned.
    • Evaluate key performance indicators, provide ongoing reports, and recommend business plan updates.
    • Make presentations on different subjects/topics as required.

    Requirements

    Finance Reporting Manager

    Job Summary: 

    Responsible for preparing Management Performance Report (MPR), Financial Report and compilation on annual budget input for the Plant.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the preparation of monthly performance report (MPR) for the Plant.
    • Conduct monthly variance analysis to provide better informed management decision.
    • To ensure accurate monthly preparation of the Plant's financial report for Exco/Technical and presentation.
    • Coordinate and review the conduct of monthly financial Trend analysis and advise Management on effective cost management strategy.
    • Review Quarterly Preparation of DCP-Ibese income statement for Effective Tax Rate computation (ETR).
    • Coordinate the preparation and compilation of annual budget inputs for the Plant.
    • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by HOD.

    Requirements

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in accounting or other related discipline.
    • Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, CPA, ACCA.

    Work experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years relevant experience.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Good understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
    • Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
    • Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Good organizational skills.
    • Good data gathering, analysis and problem solving skills.
    • High ethical standards and integrity.
    • Basic proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
