    Home Economics/Food and Nutrition teacher

    We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Home Economics/Food and  Nutrition.

    Are you an experienced and knowledgeable Home economics/Food and nutrition teacher seeking an  exciting new opportunity? This thriving secondary academy(Bookworkshop College) is looking to welcome  a Home economics/Food and nutrition Teacher to their team as soon as possible.

    Job Role:

    Teaching Home economics/Food and nutrition subjects 

    • Creating dynamic and interactive lessons that captivate students’ interest
    • Writing up to date lesson plans and coordinating lessons effectively
    • Inspiring students with a passion for Home economics/Food and nutrition through practical  examples and real-world applications
    • Enhancing student attainment levels and maintaining high teaching standards
    • Utilizing a range of teaching resources, including modern technology, to enhance teaching and  learning activities.

    Yoruba Teacher

    Job Role/Responsibilities

    •  Teach Yoruba language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
    • Develop and adapt Yoruba language and culture teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with the educational institution’s curriculum or specific student needs.
    • Creating dynamic and interactive lessons that captivate students’ interest
    • Writing up-to-date lesson plans and coordinating lessons effectively
    • Deliver engaging and effective Yoruba language lessons to students of various age groups and proficiency levels.
    • Introduce and explain Yoruba culture, history, and traditions to students.
    • Enhancing student attainment levels and maintaining high teaching standards
    • Utilizing a range of teaching resources, including modern technology, to enhance teaching.

    English and Phonics Teacher

    Job Role/Responsibilities

    • Prepare and deliver Phonetics lessons to students of diverse age groups
    • Develop students’ oral and written communication skills, like writing formal letters, reports, speeches, poetry and short stories. 
    • Teach sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and literature of the language.
    • Help students improve their style of speaking or writing as dependent upon choice of words, the accent, inflection, intonation, and speech-sound quality manifested by an individual speaker; or proper enunciation.
    • Creating dynamic and interactive lessons that captivate students’ interest
    • Writing up-to-date lesson plans and coordinating lessons effectively
    • Utilizing a range of teaching resources, including modern technology, to enhance teaching.
