    Financial / Business Controller

    Purpose

    Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of company’s financial transactions. Responsible for effectively managing the company’s financial resources and recommending strategies for managing operational costs and maximizing profits.

    Responsibilities

    • Liaise with the GCFO to develop/update and implement financial and accounting policies, procedures, and strategies.
    • Develop annual plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
    • Establish company-wide standards for systems, data, and processes.
    • Design and implement a sound accounting framework ensuring compliance with tax and statutory provisions.
    • Assist in maintaining financial controls across company operations.
    • Coordinate financial transactions and consolidation of accounts.
    • Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely financial and management information.
    • Ensure intra-group balances are reconciled and variances resolved.
    • Maintain liaison with regulatory organizations, auditors, banks, etc.
    • Oversee tax computation, remittance, insurance premiums, and other statutory fees.
    • Provide technical training and guidance on financial accounting issues.
    • Review weekly reports and present timely reports to the GCFO.
    • Ensure strict adherence to Corporate HSE Policy.

    Person Specifications:    

    • Qualification: Minimum B.Sc/HND in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant with recognized Accounting Certifications (CIMA, ACA, ICAN, ACCA).
    • Experience: 10+ years, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

    AW 139 Line Captain

    We’re on an evolutionary journey where we’re changing our story. We are looking to hire an experienced AW 139 Line Captain to join our diverse team in Nestav.

    In this role, you will be responsible for operating the AW 139 Helicopters.

    As an AW139 Line Captain, you will be responsible for:

    • Having final authority as to the operation of the aircraft while being in command.
    • Weathering, manipulating the controls or not, for the operation of the aircraft in accordance with the rules of the air.
    • Operating the aircraft in a manner so as not to endanger life or property of others.
    • Having authority to give all commands as deems necessary for the purpose of securing the safety of the aircraft and of persons or property carried therein.
    • Ensuring all passengers are briefed on locations of emergency exits and use of relevant safety and emergency equipment.
    • Ensuring that all operational procedures and checklists are complied with, in accordance with the operations manual.

    What are we looking for?

    • Minimum OND in a relevant discipline.
    • Minimum of 3500 Flying Hours.
    • Certification on ATPL LICENSE, AW 139 Type Rating.
    • Good Communication and Leadership Skills.
    • Experience with solving problems and good decision making.
    • Ability to adjust to dynamic nature of operation.
