    Early Years Coordinator

    Description

    • Under the direction of the Youth Program Manager, the Early Years Coordinator is a Youth Counselor who oversees the under age 5 program and is responsible for the implementation of all early year programming as it relates to the Passenger Programs and Entertainment Department.
    • The EYC will be regarded as a member of the Youth Staff and be required to participate in all under age 5 activities as directed by the Youth Program Manager.
    • In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
    • The Early Years Coordinator must be passionate about working with children and embrace the Norwegian Cruise Line Mission.
    • This specific role requires attention to the early years program and familiarization with Wee Can Too and Cruise and Create Programs. This position also requires attention to activities for baby, toddler and parents.
    • As a member of the Entertainment Team, the Early Years Coordinator is responsible for implementing any of the scheduled youth and family activities that take place outside of the center as assigned.
    • Must be accessible and approachable with guests, both young and old. Must be a patient listener and offer hospitality service to the guests even when the situation falls outside of the Youth Programs.
    • Assist with the maintenance of storage, inventory and ordering of all equipment, supplies, gifts and prizes, which are specific to the Early Years program.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned or as directed. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years work experience.

    Music Teacher

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Teach one or more specialism(s) from: classroom curriculum music; guitar; ukulele, voice to groups of children and whole classes (National Curriculum and “Wider Opportunities”) at Broad Heath Primary as timetabled.
    • Implement school curriculum and assessment procedures with all students.
    • Keep a record of pupils' progress and attendance using school documentation.
    • Liaise and co-operate with staff in school.
    • Participate in Performance Management as directed by the Headteacher.
    • Become conversant with safeguarding, and implement, the Health & Safety and Child Protection Policies of the Service, the Directorate and the Council. To comply with the “Duty of Care” expected of all individuals whilst at work.
    • Perform in Live Music in school and give demonstrations in schools, if required.

    Art Teacher

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a creative, flexible art teacher to join our team of seasoned educators. The art teacher's responsibilities include sourcing art supplies, preparing lessons, and providing developmentally appropriate instruction on art techniques. You should also be able to supervise lessons to ensure that learners interact in a supportive and respectful manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Planning lessons on art and art history in accordance with students' learning objectives.
    • Preparing the classroom by gathering and setting up equipment.
    • Developing students' drawing, coloring, and painting techniques.
    • Providing instruction on the use of media such as graphite and charcoal pencils, as well as oil, acrylic, and watercolor paint.
    • Teaching students about art history.
    • Assigning and grading projects and examinations.
    • Recording and reporting on students' progress.
    • Ensuring that the classroom is clean after each lesson.
    • Monitoring inventory and sourcing art supplies, as needed.
    • Attending faculty and parent-teacher meetings.

    Administrative Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
    • Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure the performance
    • Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
    • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
    • Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
    • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
    • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
    • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
    • Assist colleagues whenever necessary
