    Azure Presales Solution Architect

    About the job

    • The Azure Pre-Sales Solution Architect role exists within Cloudsa Africa - a subsidiary company of SATH.
    • The role is responsible for advancing Azure adoption and consumption and the ideal person must be able to engage C Suite Executives and other technical and non technical stakeholders about Azure solutions and its benefits.
    • The aim is to drive Azure solution sales and enhance the purchase decisions of both existing and potential customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to prove the company's ability to meet the cloud adoption needs of prospective customers.
    • Showcase propositions about Microsoft Azure solutions to existing and potential customers via online webinars, workshops and other platforms that are available for such engagements.
    • Work with customers on their Microsoft cloud adoption strategy and drive sales for the company's Azure business area.
    • Engage customers on a long-term basis and drive Microsoft Azure adoption within the customers' space.
    • Understand customers’ specific cloud solution needs and show superior understanding of Azure solutions to customers with the aim of driving sales opportunity.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role.
    • Experience with Microsoft 365, Migrations, Security, and Cloud Strategy.
    • Data Centre transformation experience – migration of applications, virtual machines, and databases in a pre-sales capacity.
    • Pre-sales background or technical Azure background.
    • Knowledge of Assessment, assessment tools and methodology.
    • Proven knowledge with Azure IaaS (networking, storage, database, applications, virtual machines).
    • Proven knowledge with Azure Backup & Recovery Services.
    • Proven knowledge with Azure Governance (Blueprints, policies, tagging, cost management)
    • Proven knowledge with Azure SQL (Managed Instances & PaaS).
    • Proven knowledge with Azure Security (Sentinel, Security Centre, Defender, ACL, Azure Firewall, Policy).
    • Proven knowledge with Azure Serverless and integration (Batch, Function\Logic Apps etc).
    • Proven knowledge with Azure ACR, ACI, Kubernetes.
    • Proven knowledge with Azure AD including on premises Active Directory.
    • Able to produce high quality and professional presentations.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    • At least 8 years’ experience in administration and programs management, with demonstrable skills in working in a non-governmental organization or social platform.
    • Understand social advocacy, grant writing, fundraising and is able to use this knowledge to access opportunities for the organization.
    • Ability to engage stakeholders.
    • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.

    Videography:

    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their goals and requirements, then translate them into compelling visual stories through video.
    • Must possess technical skills in operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, as well as proficiency in video editing software to ensure the final product meets professional standards.
    • Collaborate with other team members, such as content creators, marketers, and designers, to align video content with broader organizational strategies and initiatives.

    Asset Management:

    • Organize and maintain video files, project assets, and archives for easy access and retrieval.
    • Ensure all graphics design and video content adheres to brand guidelines and quality standards.

    Learning:

    • Experiment with new equipment, shooting techniques, and editing styles to push creative boundaries.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technologies to continually improve skills and workflow efficiency.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    • Minimum of BSc. in any discipline, preferably Marketing, English, or Journalism.
    • 3+ Years’ Experience in graphics design, web design and videography/editing.
    • Proven experience as a creative graphics design, videographer, and editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse graphic and video projects.
    • Excellent storytelling skills and attention to detail, with the ability to convey emotions and narratives through visuals.
    • Proficiency in Photoshop, in-design, Coral draw, video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Aftereffects, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
    • Solid understanding of designs, cinematography principles, composition, and lighting techniques.
    • Ability to use design tools, operate professional video cameras, audio recording equipment, and lighting setups.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
