    Accountant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage all aspects of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. 
    • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. 
    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, statements, and records for internal and external use. 
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. 
    • Participate in financial audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules. 
    • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting. 
    • Generate financial analyses and provide insights to support decision-making. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. 
    • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to data security policies. 
    • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
    • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. 
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards. 
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks,) and MS Office, especially Excel. 
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. 
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

    Communications Manager

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Communication Planning:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned with organizational goals. 
    • Collaborate with leadership to identify key messaging and communication priorities. 

    Content Creation:

    • Produce engaging and impactful content for various channels, including press releases, social media, newsletters, and the organization's website.
    • Ensure all communications align with the organization's brand and messaging guidelines. 

    Media Relations:

    • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media outlets. 
    • Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests. 

    Digital and Social Media Management:

    •  Oversee the organization's digital presence, including website content management and social media platforms.
    •  Implement strategies to increase online engagement and brand visibility. 

    Public Relations:

    • Plan and execute public relations initiatives to enhance the organization's public image. 
    • Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to amplify the organization's reach. 

    Internal Communication:

    • Facilitate effective internal communication to ensure staff members are informed and aligned with organizational initiatives. 
    • Develop and maintain internal communication channels. 

    Event Communication:*

    • Support communication efforts for organizational events, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
    •  Collaborate with event planners to create promotional materials and communication strategies. 

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field,
    • Proven experience in communications, preferably Within the nonprofit sector.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,
    • Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms.
    • Åbility to develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively,
    • Familiarity with content management systems and graphic design tools.

    Volunteer Lead

    Responsibilities:

    • The Volunteer Lead will assist the Grassroot and Volunteer Coordinator in the following areas; 

    Volunteer Recruitment:

    • Develop and implement strategies to attract new volunteers, ensuring a diverse and engaged volunteer base. 
    • Collaborate with other teams to understand volunteer needs for various programs and initiatives. 

    Onboarding and Training:

    • Design and conduct volunteer orientations to familiarize new volunteers with the organization's mission, values, and procedures. 
    • Coordinate training sessions to equip volunteers with the skills and knowledge required for their roles. 

    Placement and Scheduling:

    • Match volunteers with suitable roles based on their skills, interests, and availability. 
    • Create and maintain a volunteer schedule, ensuring adequate coverage for events and ongoing projects. 

    Communication and Engagement:

    • Maintain open and regular communication with volunteers through newsletters, emails, and social media platforms. 
    • Organize volunteer appreciation and recognition programs. 

    Conflict Resolution:

    • Address and resolve volunteer-related issues promptly and professionally. 
    • Provide guidance and support to volunteers to ensure a positive experience. 

    Data Management:

    • Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, hours, and activities. 
    • Generate reports on volunteer engagement and impact for organizational review. 

    Collaboration with Other Departments:

    • Work closely with line managers and coordinators to align volunteer efforts with organizational objectives. 
    • Foster a collaborative environment that values the contributions of volunteers. 

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in volunteer management or related roles. 
    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
    • Ability to motivate and inspire volunteers. 
    • Proficient in using volunteer management software and Microsoft Office Suite
