Job Description

• Visa Processing: The Visa and Tours Officer is responsible for handling visa applications and ensuring the necessary documents are prepared accurately and submitted on time. He/She should have a good understanding of visa requirements and regulations for various countries.
• Tour Planning and Coordination: The officer will assist clients in planning and organizing their travel itineraries, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities. He/She will provide recommendations and options based on the client's preferences and budget.
• Customer Service: The officer is the main point of contact for clients and provides excellent customer service throughout the travel process. They address queries, resolve issues, and provide necessary information regarding visa applications, travel restrictions, and tour arrangements.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: The officer maintains accurate records of all visa applications, travel bookings, and client details. He/She will ensure proper documentation is completed and filed for reference and compliance purposes.
• Communication and Coordination: The officer communicates with clients, travel agents, embassies, and other relevant parties to coordinate visa processing, travel arrangements, and resolve any issues that may arise. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Compliance and Regulation: The Visa and Tours Officer stays updated on visa regulations, immigration policies, and travel advisories issued by different countries. They ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to visa processing and travel arrangements.
• Travel Advisory: The officer provides clients with up-to-date information on travel advisories, entry requirements, health and safety precautions, and any other relevant travel-related information.
• Sales and Revenue Generation: Depending on the agency, the officer may also be responsible for promoting travel packages, up-selling additional services, and generating revenue through tour bookings and visa processing fees.
• Research and Continuous Learning: The Visa and Tours Officer keeps abreast of industry trends, new visa regulations, and travel destinations to provide accurate and updated information to clients. He/She may conduct research on new travel destinations, attractions, and accommodations.
• Administrative Tasks: The officer may be assigned various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, maintaining an inventory of travel brochures, updating the agency's website or social media platforms, and assisting with other office-related duties.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND in relevant fields with 2 years work experience.
