    Treasury Assistant

    Job Summary:

    • The Treasury Assistant will play a crucial role in managing the company's cash flow and financial transactions.
    • This position will report to the Treasury Manager and will be responsible for various treasury functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Cash Management: Monitor daily cash balances and manage cash flow to meet operational needs.
    • Prepare cash flow forecasts and reports for review by the Treasury Manager.
    • Assist in optimizing cash utilization and minimizing idle cash.
    • Banking Relations: Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions. Process daily bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
    • Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders. Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests. Ensure timely and accurate payments to avoid late fees and penalties. Prepare Upload sheet for bulk payments.
    • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain proper records of financial transactions, including receipts and disbursements. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and tax requirements. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
    • Treasury Support: Assist in the development and implementation of treasury strategies and policies. Participate in treasury projects and initiatives as assigned. Provide support to the Treasury Manager in various financial tasks.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • 3 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, or accounting.
    • Knowledge of treasury operations, banking, and financial instruments.
    • Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
