    Special Needs Teacher

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a tutor who has relevant qualifications and certifications in special education. They should be trained to work with students with various special needs, such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or sensory processing disorders.
    • A Degree in special education or a related field is a valuable asset.
    • Experience: Prior experience is crucial. He / She should have a track record of working with students who have similar special needs to your child. They should understand the challenges these students face and have effective teaching strategies to address them.
    • Individualized Instruction: A special needs tutor should be skilled in creating individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements. They should be able to adapt their teaching methods, materials, and pace to cater to your child's learning style and needs.
    • Patience and Empathy: Patience and empathy are vital qualities for a special needs tutor. They should create a supportive and understanding learning environment. Children with special needs may require extra time and support, and the tutor should be compassionate and patient in their approach.
    • Communication and Collaboration: A good special needs tutor should maintain open communication with both the student and the parents or caregivers. They should be willing to collaborate with other professionals involved in the child's education, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, or behavior specialists.
