    Senior Project Manager

    Objectives

    • We are looking to hire a highly driven senior business analyst to assist the company to improve business efficiency.
    • The senior business analyst's responsibilities involve developing new business strategies and models, communicating to management on how these strategies and models will enhance business efficiency, and creating monthly reports on the performance of the business.
    • You should also be able to utilize the monthly reports to identify business areas in need of improvement.
    • To be successful as a Senior Business Analyst, you should be able to effectively manage the Business Analyst team.
    • Ultimately, a top-performing Senior Business Analyst should be able to identify ways in which to improve customer satisfaction.

    Roles

    • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements.
    • Define reporting and alerting requirements.
    • Own and develop relationships with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance our integration.
    • Design, document and maintain system processes.
    • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to Product team.
    • Communicate key insights and findings to Product team.
    • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer.
    • Analyze all stages of the project life cycle including defining and documenting user requirements, carrying out system testing and assisting with user acceptance testing.
    • Negotiations in defining the scope of work and agreeing user requirements.
    • Manage, plan and take responsibility for a range of tasks involving interaction with, and the co-operation of, business and IT people, including the agreement of technical solutions.
    • Line management responsibility for other Business Analyst team members, performing one-to-one meetings and reviewing and support day-to-day BA activities on projects.
    • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one time operational issues.
    • Carry out any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

    Skills

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills.
    • Expert knowledge in generating process documentation.
    • Must pay attention to details.
    • Effective communication and leadership skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Confident use of Email and Web browsers, Microsoft Office tool set – (MS VISIO, MS Word, MS Excel, Google docs, SWOT, Pencil, Vision One Lifecycle.
    • Experience working on configuring software packages as well as working on a variety of projects, including large software implementations.
    • The ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    Qualifications

    • A Good University Degree plus at least 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Experience in analyzing data to draw business relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools.
    • Experience working with senior decision makers.
    • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
    • Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders.
    • Proven business analysis experience, including strong influence in business process analysis and re-engineering.
    • Experience working in a complex environment with a wide range of parallel and mutually dependent activities.
    • Proven training in Business Process Modeling.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Ms Visio, Excel,PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to relate confidently and effectively to users at all levels.
    • Proven track record of managing their own work successfully, and of working effectively as part of a wider team.
    • Proven analysis and innovative problem-solving skills.
