Senior Mechanical Engineer at Dana Group

Job Responsibilities:

•  Analyze equipment failure trends and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop long-term strategies to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
•  Lead and drive cross-functional teams to implement lean practices and continuous improvement projects.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance maintenance efficiency.
• Establish goals and targets to drive continuous improvement in equipment uptime, maintenance costs, and other critical metrics.
• Maintenance of Blister, Sealing, Filling & Mixing, and Batch Coding machines.
• Planning and coordinating the maintenance activities to ensure effective and timely repairs.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimum disruption to production schedules.
• Knowledge of generator maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). Masters is an added advantage.
• At least 10- 12 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical or Food/Beverage industry.
• Relevant certifications in maintenance management are advantageous.
• Extensive experience in maintenance management in a production or manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of production processes, equipment reliability, and maintenance strategies.
